U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer, Lindale TX

Uhaul Lindale was very accommodating and helpful when we had questions. We forgot our ball hitch but they went out of their way and reached out to the local auto shops to see if they have one in stock.

The people were friendly and very helpful. It was the best and easiest Uhaul experience I’ve ever had. Will definitely use them again!

The location is terrible but the customer service is even worse.
I won't write a book detailing every single thing that went wrong but I can say I have never had a worse Uhaul experience.

When I couldn't pick up the day I had scheduled (absolutely my fault) and offered to come back the next day, I was told that I would be ruining the owner's day. When I offered to just pick up at a different location so she didn't have to have her day ruined, I got yelled at because I was suggesting something that would make her lose out on the rental money and that was her livelihood.

Bottom line: choose any other Uhaul location in Lindale or Tyler and you will have a better experience.

Worst experience ever! I made a reservation a month out for a 15 foot truck. I show up the day of pick up and the woman tells me that she only has a 20 foot. I never received a call or an email saying that they could not fulfill my reservation or asking me if I was okay with driving a 20 foot truck halfway across the country. I told her that I wasn’t very comfortable driving the truck as it was significantly larger than the one I had reserved. If I had wanted a 20 foot I would’ve reserved a 20 foot. Her attitude immediately changed and she became very short with me. Telling me there wasn’t another 15 foot truck in the area and I would have to use the 20 foot truck or nothing. She repeatedly kept trying to convince me to agree to taking the 20 foot truck after I time and time again told her that, that made me very uncomfortable and I would rather not rent a truck at all if the bigger truck was my only option. She huffed and puffed and made a few calls and miraculously found a 15 foot truck 30 minutes away. I agreed to drive the extra miles to get it but it ate up so much of my moving day. The place in Tyler I went to on Gentry however was very nice. I would recommend them. Long story short this was very unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I did call the Dallas office and I was credited $50 so U-Haul made it right. But I definitely won’t be going back to this location.
