Great place to eat outside the airport or if your in the area. Building is amazing and historic.

Food is great.
It’s the young lady at the drive through window that got the 1star. You are suppose to speak to customer. This little girl opened the window, took a deep breath and closed the window. If she doesn’t like her job then she should try somewhere else.

Order two meat plate which was lean brisket. Disappointed in the thickness of the cut of the brisket. Definitely not Uncle Dan's thin cut. Portion of Brisket was disappointing. Ask for onions and I received one small piece. Remember double meat.one small barbecue sauce container. Danny why can't this be as Good as Lake Air? Lake air for now on. Smh!

Excellent BBQ, excellent service, Francesca went above and beyond to make things nice, interior of the building is lovely, but surrounding area and parking lot are "sub optimal", but every part of their property and service was top notch, and their pricing is also reasonable. Give this place a shot!

Asked for slice brisket sandwich got it chopped in3rds and they charge 23 dollars they are crooks

Basic smoked BBQ. Got brisket, ribs, jalapeno sausage with ranch style beans and potato salad.
Brisket, they smoke the brisket all the way without wrapping so you get that deep hard, crusty bark. My brisket was tender but dry. Ribs were tough, dry and the bark was almost impossible to get thru on one.
Jalapeno sausage was great and flavorful.
I had to dip everything in their spicy BBQ sauce to eat it, but the sauce was absolutely delicious.
Ranch style beans tasted like Black Label straight from the can
White potato salad was ok but was heavy on the dill.
The flavor was very good on all the food but it was overcooked to the point that there was no more juice in the meats. Will try again later and will update if better.

If I had a choice for zero stars that's what they would of got. No chicken or ribs at 530 in the afternoon. Half a pound of moist brisket and a pound and a half of smoked sausage cost 46 dollars. Nothing moist about the brisket and it had the worst flavor ever! Nothing smoked about their sausage! More like boiled hot dogs! Took too long just for those two items and nothing friendly about the person taking and giving us our order. It's been 15 plus years since I've been there and I was hoping for a better experience. Never again! Go to Rudy's or anywhere else! Save your money and go to McDonalds or any fast food restaurant and you'll save lots and it'll taste better. No wonder their parking lot is always empty!

I drove over 30 miles to get BBQ. Very much over priced. No bread, pickles, or onions. Plus the servers were not wearing gloves or hair nets, and believe me, they definitely needed them. Very disappointed.

Very good bar-b-que was my first time to eat here and all the food hot fresh and delicious. I will return

Order wrong. Brisket was fatty and terrible. Worst money I have spent for food and embarrassing to feed my guests

Sorry folks but to me this place is a waste of money, especially when compared with Rudy’s. The quality and quantity of food was lousy especially considering how much we paid for it. The only good thing at Uncle Dan’s unfortunately was the pie.

Asked for moist (fat) chopped bbq.this is shredded lean meat.not even close to what I asked for and didn't even include jalapenos only a couple pieces of bread this is a joke of a company

Always out if peachcobler so bought pecan pie and banana pudding. Now I see why they are always out of peach cobbler. Others where just like whatever will not order again.

It was okay. Sausage and sides were good. Brisket was mushy and had no flavor. Reminded me of roast. And this plate was over $20.

If I could give this Uncle Dan's, zero stars, I would. I ordered $24 worth of food and I should have had a feast. But on the contrary, the portions of the meat were small. I tasted the chicken and it was so tough to chew. See the photo. Honestly, I should have just cooked my own food and not bothered to give my money to a place that jips their customers on the size of the portions. I didn't get any plasticware with my meal and that should be included for the amount I paid. If you risk the chance to go to this restaurant, and you use the drive through, make sure to ask for plasticware, a straw for your drink and sauces to drown out the tough chicken they will serve you. Shaking my head at this place. The food was straight awful. Spend your money elsewhere.

I went to the Hewitt location tonight and ordered a Texas tater. I got all the way home to find out that my tater had no brisket on it, only bbq sauce and cheese. If it wasn’t for Caleb at the Hewitt location fixing my order and showing great customer service, I would give this visit one star. Thank you for the great service Caleb! He deserves a raise!:)

Stopped in for lunch today, very clean, super friendly staff and the brisket was very good!

I stopped because it's been years since I've been here, and it's on the way home. It's not as good as Rudy's and it's more expensive. I reckon I'll stick with Rudy's going forward.
