Back to Uncle Chow's again, the weekend before today was busy and I was with friends. I came here for lunch today on a working day. When it was not busy, the food was served quickly because I heard from the boss that all noodles are made one bowl at a time. They will not make semi-finished products in advance. This kind of wait is worth eating again. My favorite H1 spaghetti is taken away and given to my colleagues when I go out. This is a good place if you want to have a variety of dishes for lunch.

Very good experience, with very distinctive decoration, the food taste is also very good, the service is very thoughtful, I will introduce my friends to come. I will also use this place as my business banquet.

Food is great, best Asian food I have ever eaten. My only complaint was not listing ingredients on their wide noodles. I ended up with Cilantro In a dish which ruined it for me.

An incredible gem in Plano - a Michelin starred chef cooking very traditional dishes from the province of Henan. If you are looking for a new variety of Chinese cuisine, you can’t miss here. The chefs technique is of course exceptional and each dish is a revelatory experience. Highly recommend, will be back.

2/11/2024 Original Review:
Ordered Food To Go:
Fried Dumplings - Decent
Pork and Chives Dumplings - Decent
Beef Fried Rice - Extremely eggy and had zero flavor
Beef Fried Noodles - Extremely oily with a little flavor

I’ve been to many restaurants that serve dumplings and some standard dishes that would blow this place out of the water. I think the best thing they serve would be dumplings and that’s it. I will not return to this restaurant.

2/13/2024 Response to Owner:
I definitely ordered a variety of items that would typically hold up well when ordering food to-go. All of the food I ordered were items that I usually like regardless of the style of cooking. I try find something that I like in a restaurant but, that wasn’t the case here.

I'm not really understanding the Michellen star reviews maybe that's for the new york location. We tried to order the Burger as well. & they had none of the meats (lamb or beef, ground i assume) they really had none of the vegetables either. The service was okay. They were very friendly but the food. Yeah I will not be going back. The meat that was added to my bowl was cold.

In fact, this is a very family-style restaurant, very warm and homey. The boss is very nice. We arrived on the weekend and there were many people, but everyone was waiting happily. The waiter also thoughtfully asked the number of people and provided snacks. This wish weekend was Chinese New Year and the restaurant was very busy. But we didn't have to wait long. We ordered braised pork with plum and vegetables, beef fried noodles and a bowl of handmade wide noodles with soup. This is the best traditional Chinese food I have ever eaten. Every dish comes with rice for free. The waiter saw me eating and would considerately Asked me if I wanted some more rice. Although they are very busy, I can see that they are dedicated to serving. Will come back again with friends.

The food was good, especially the hand pulled noodles.

I took my young daughter here on a Saturday and we waited 40 minutes for a table. Not great but not unheard of. The only times we saw our waiter were when we placed our order and got our check. They brought two entrees out before the appetizer and forgot about the third, but had everything on the check. When I took my daughter to use their restroom (for probably less than 2 minutes) they had cleared our table after I had purposely asked our waiter for them not to. I get that it was a busy evening, but I did not feel at all like we mattered to them.

I was excited to try place but pretty disappointed. The food was bad, had zero flavor and tasted odd. It was total confusion with the servers and trying to get our food and check. My friend never got his food. We paid and left.oh well

For a vegetarian, I really like this v6 snowpea & the portion is huge. And I also like the H1Diai Oill Hand wide noodle

It tastes bad. The service is very slow. The attitude is bad. I doubt the good reviews. The food is not good and very bad service! Don’t come!

Great place for hand pulled noodles! For appetizers we had the scallion pancakes and the pork and chive dumplings. The dumplings were good. Only a little better than frozen dumplings. The scallion pancakes were delicious! Soft and crispy at the same time. I highly recommend them! I ordered H3 which is the beef hand drawn wide noodles. The meat was tender and juicy and could definitely tell that the noodles were made by hand. The broth could have had little more flavor, but all together it was very good. My husband got P10 which is pork belly with preserved veges and it was served with a bowl of rice. The pork was so good and tender with a lot of flavor. However, I do wish it came with more veges. Definitely a good place for Chinese and if you go on a Saturday for dinner try to go at 5 because they tend to get quite busy at that time!

This is my second time dining at this restaurant. Since it is the weekend dinner time, many people are queuing in the waiting area. You might need a bit more time than usual to get your food. The staff was very busy but attentive, and the food quality did not disappoint us.

Did not match the hype. The food was too oily and didn't really fare well in taste parameters as well. Service was a mixed bag - the owner/chef seemed very friendly, though.

I had the pleasure of dining at Uncle Zhou restaurant recently, and I must say, their hand-pulled noodles and black pepper steak were absolutely delightful! They are pretty busy during the weekend, but service was nice. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the ambiance only added to the overall experience. I highly recommend trying out their menu – you won't be disappointed!

Unfortunately this place is a victim of its own success. Do not count on coming here and being seated without first waiting for one hour or more. There was literally a line of people standing outside the restaurant. Parking is nonexistent. It’s just not worth it anymore. I also ordered the eggplant meal and didn’t get a complimentary side of rice with my meal. What kind of Chinese place doesn’t serve a side of rice? !
