Unit F14 Powder Coating reviews
10I had them powdercoat some old drum rims to restore my first drum kit. They did an amazing job! Even recommended a paint that would be less likely to chip!
Just had the Brake Calipers powder coated on my 2020 Hellcat Redeye. I went from silver to Red and WOW what a difference, looks absolutely amazing. These guys are friendly, prompt and very good at what they do. Highly recommend!
My rims look amazing! The color is much more complimentary to the car and the curb rash is gone. I also appreciate the care Drew and his crew took to point out some safety concerns, offering to fix without pushing me.
I had another place powder coat these calipers and the finish didn't last. Unit F14 redid them, and they turned out great. This picture was taken almost 3 years later, and the finish hasn't flaked or deteriorated at all. Highly recommend.
Drew and his team are absolutely AMAZING! You will not be disappointed! He did the wheels on my GT350 and the results were nothing short of awesome.
I don’t recommend this place for dirt bike frames. All threaded holes had to be chased and chamfered, swing arm holes were filled in, I had to dremel the coating out and it filled in the grease channels. And it was the wrong color, now that was partly my fault but for the price you’d think they’d do a little research to make sure it’s 100% what the customer wants, I mentioned the color code one time then said I want stock color for that year multiple times more, they never did any research on the stock color. Price vs quality control doesn’t match up. This review is solely about dirt bike frames, I can’t speak for any other parts to be coated.
Drew and this team are fantastic. We use them for all our needs.
See pictures below.
This company is absolutely amazing. Had some not so great powder coating work done at a different company some years back and I lived with it. Decided to try Unit F14 and can’t be happier. Drew is a true professional. Great honest people.
Took a small Bassani for a vintage Yamaha 80 to be sandblasted. I have sandblasted many, many parts i9n the -process of restoring vintage motorcycles. I picked it up, and the guy said "$67.99". It couldn't have even taken 30 minutes. It MAY have taken as much as 20 minutes to blast. $68.00 to sandblast a minibike pipe? THAT is an overcharge. I have more, but will take them somewhere else.
