This is the best jujitsu gym in Pasadena! I have been training here for about a year now, and I have to say that I have never found a better combination of technical instruction and positive training environment anywhere else.

The coaches are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, and they are always willing to share their experience to help us improve. The training sessions are well structured and cater to both beginners and advanced students. Plus, the coaches always make sure we're learning the techniques and giving us feedback on our performance.

The facility is clean and well organized, with plenty of space to train. The equipment is top-notch, and everything is properly maintained to ensure it's safe to use.

Coming from my previous school, I joined the United Jiu-Jitsu Team a little over 6 months ago and I have been blown away by the experience. The instructors are top-notch and highly skilled, with years of experience both in practicing and teaching the art of Jiu-Jitsu. They take the time to work with each student individually, ensuring that we all understand the concepts and techniques and can apply them effectively.
The atmosphere at United is welcoming and supportive, and the community has been incredibly friendly and encouraging. Everyone is here to train hard, push one another and help each other improve. There’s a real sense of camaraderie in the gym.
The school is always clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space for training. The class schedule is flexible, with a wide range of kids and adult classes (both gi and nogi) offered throughout the week. They regularly cross-train with Pablo Silva Jiu-Jitsu, with whom they are a close affiliate.

I have definitely found my new gym home and I highly recommend United to anyone interested in learning jiu-jitsu. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, the instructors and community at United will help you take your skills to the next level.

Carlos Henriquez is an absolute professional; he's patient, kind, and great at conveying information. As far as coaching young children, Carlos is one of the top instructors in Houston. His adult students are also technical and talented, with many being decorated competitors.

United Jiu Jitsu fosters a culture of respect and responsibility; students from young too old are taught to be humble and helpful. Their classes are filled with people from all backgrounds and walks of life, and they are courteous & supportive of one another, while at the same time pushing each other to be their very best.

I recommend anyone, from beginner to experienced practitioner, to visit United Jiu Jitsu. You won't regret it.

Best jiu-jitsu school in the Pasadena and surrounding areas. Prof. Carlos is an absolutely top level competitor and will train you like no other. There's competition classes on Wed. 6am classes if needed and weekend comp classes at Pablo Silva BJJ in Belair. Bring lots of water/Gatorade.

Adult and kid classes offered. There are different skill levels and weight classes. Everyone trains hard and learns good technique under Prof. Carlos. Belt ranks are earned not given. Classes are structured and focused. Our team has good sportsmanship. Facilities are clean and sanitized daily. Family friendly environment. Highly recommend.

Awesome school. Convenient location and easy to get to. Professor Carlos is very knowledgeable and actually leads by example, because he actively participates in each class he teaches. The students there are very friendly and welcoming. This school will help your BJJ game grow, regardless of your experience level. No one has an ego over here, which is common in other gyms. There’s a family like atmosphere. Also, this school is very Military Veteran friendly. I served in the Military. I have some anxiety from my service. The Professor and training partners do their best to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I am proud to call this my home gym. Highly Recommended. Osss.
