United States Cold Storage reviews
16Shipper open and closed the door by their self and put seal too. But I was surprised to see when I open my door at drop of place, they didn’t put any load lock to secure the load. Even four load locks were in the trailer. Thanks God the load was still safe when I open the gate.
Easiest drop and hook I've had.
Security and shipping- professional and courteous.
The place is really easy to get to, right off I-30.
Driver lounge area with vending machines and large clean restrooms.
This place got it right.
Very nice and clean facility. Friendly guard shack guys that tell you everything you need to know. Immediately put in a door, got loaded up and was on our way in an hour and 15 minutes.
The 3 stars is for the overnight parking, communication could be a little better, they are slow
Worst place to deliver to they are so slow they take 8 hours to unload my trailer I will never run another load for them ever

Dropped trailer for weekend and was loaded earlier than appt. Very friendly and helpful staff. Overnight Parking
Good to deliver. Allot Door at gate. You must should have delivery no.
Don't be late. Otherwise you have to pay 205 dollars late fee.
From the guy in the guard shack to loading and check out, OUTSTANDING! A joy to come here. Thank you!
Awesome place in and out. I checked in at my appointment time. I was given a door right way loaded in 1 hour. For a cold storage that’s amazing
No On-site parking. You can show up 2 Hrs early, but Don't expect to be done before the appointment time. Friendly people, clean bathroom. You can drop trailer & leave to eat etc. Also Restaurants are close enough to walk to, and delivery is ok too.
Great service. I was sent to a dock right away and was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. It was a little slow but not bad.
Got me in early, didn't have proper pick up number didn't kick me out, everyone was very courteous and had me loaded before my appt time. Also have free coffee in the shipping office a big +
2nd time here unloading very slow It tk them 7 hours to unload bt Nice n clean facility easy parking restrooms nd sitting area vending machines for drivers
Got there a day early. They would not take me. Noting they work by appt only. So, the next morning (12 hours before my appt they put me in a dock And no one else was there) I sat there until 4.5 hours after my appointment time. When my appointment came I sat.they did not start unload for another hour and it took over three more hours before they were done.
Been here maybe 8 times the past 4 years (mostly to load) but it's been a year or so since last visit. In the past I've had mixed results but overall learned to not have any high expectations or hope about prompt delivery.
However, I was dispatched here again to load today (Friday) and the experience was GREAT. As good as you can hope for at any cold storage warehouse. I had a 11: 00 PU Appt. Arrived about 09: 45. Gate dude was real friendly, took my pickup number and sent me straight to a door in less than a minute. They started loading about 10: 15 and received a paperwork ready call at 11: 15, and no waiting in the office.
Very prompt and enjoyable loading process here today. Maybe this was a one-off but it's a real experience anyway. Your results may vary.
But it appeared to be a lighter day than normal, but I still feel they have worked hard lately to improve efficiency and reduce hassle since my last visit. My chief complaint has always been that we typically load [frozen] "Surlean product" and it always seems to be "hot" and our newer and bigger units run hard for 8+ hours on hot days to ever reach the -10 set point and shut off. I suspect the core temp of the product loaded is typically closer to +20F degrees and we are to finish the deep-freeze process enroute. It happens.
