It's really that bad. Just a terrible experience from top to bottom. They do the absolute bare minimum and a sloth has more sense of urgency than anyone on staff here. No one answers the phone, lines out the door, constant delivery issues due to post office exceptions. The USPS is definitely in trouble but horrible employees nationwide are what's steering that ship into the rocks.

Staff has always been friendly. I am surprised by low reviews. Even when long lines, they go relatively fast. When i go, i go on my way to work so don't have a lot of time, but it hasn't ever been too bad and staff apologizes for long lines if there is one.

This is the worst post office I have ever been to. Our mailboxes were broken into six months ago so all of our mail is being held at the post office until the boxes are repaired. Lines are long, I have stood in line two hours at one point only to be be told there was no mail. Packages are lost, staff have no idea what they are doing, and lines are at least one hour long. I have been told multiple times, after waiting in line for an hour, that there is no mail only I have tracking numbers proving my packages have arrived. The staff go back to check again and find my packages and even a couple more that I wasn't expecting. I pick up mail for an elder that cannot go the post office but has medication delivered though the mail. Countless medication orders have been lost or very late leaving them with no medication. This is completely unacceptable! The staff today told me he couldn't find one of my packages that I had a tracking number for and that he would need help. After I sent him back to find my packages with tracking numbers when he told me I have no mail. Then go get help I can't fix this for you. The complex has the new mailboxes waiting to be installed but is waiting for the post office to supply the required USPS locks to install the boxes. We have been waiting six months with no answers. I have changed to a PO box to hopefully receive my mail but I am very concerned my packages will be continuously lost. I have no other choice there is no other company I can use. The only positive is the staff are polite but completely incompetent.

Worst post office. They are so rude and not helpful at all. Time to get rid of at least 3 of their employees, especially the one that is eating a bag of chips while “working”. I hope I never have to go back.

My son is in the Navy. He looks forward to packages from home. He has been out to sea for the past 9 months. I arrived at 1pm, this female employee with brown straight hair and glasses informed me they close promptly at 1 pm and to use the self service machines (which I attempted do do, but they were both not allowing packages) so I attempted to inform the same lady, but she rudely told me I have no control of that. I did inform her this package is for my son in the Navy, she did not care. Proceeded to shut the door on me.

I've been in San Antonio a few months and the 3 times I've had to deal with them has been terrible. 2 of my packages were not delivered because someone at the post office lost our stole them after tracking said they were delivered to the facility. Ridiculous

DO NOT HAVE YOUR PACKAGES DELIVER HERE! This post office is a disgrace they lost my package for a second time and they don’t know where it’s at even though the tracking number said it was dropped off there for delivery. They only have 1 window and a line of at least 20 people all the time! Do not waste your time going there.

Bought a new build, and I have my keys. I know we have mailboxes but still no mail. I go to post office and they say I have to talk to supervisor. I filled out the sheet 5 times and I have not got a call back. I have to go twice a week to this post office to get mail to wait in line 45 minutes to an hour. This is unacceptable.

“Apparently there are lines now” said the elderly, white haired, female supervisor through a smile as she proceeded to cut in front of me to help other customers immediately after informing her I was indeed waiting in a line of 1 for a kiosk to become available.

The guy a couple places in front of me in line waited at the window for 30 minutes just to be told “come back in 4 hours. The guy that handles that is out right now. ” Then the lady after him got told “sorry I have no idea where your mail is. There’s no way of knowing if the other post office received the change of address form you filled out months ago. You can just try again”

Visiting this place made me understand why Seinfeld hated Newman so much

At the end of each summer I always mail 6-7 packages home. Everyone there is always super friendly and now that I use USPS click and ship (yes I have a scale available where I stay), I just drop my packages off in the bin. Super easy and quick.

Everyone at this post office is extremely kind and helpful, I’m always in and out in a timely manner. I also love their seasonal holiday decorations!

Be prepared to wait awhile at this time. We have a long line and only 3 out of 5 helping customers. I suppose that's about right.

An insured registered mail goes missing. Called USPS 800 number they assigned the case to my local postal office 78251. Arturo Zamora, customer server supervisor emails me shortly thereafter saying he is going to reach out to the postal office where the package was last scanned at and share any information he received. Seven days later I still have not heard back from him. Sent him an email, and called USPS 800 number where the agent added a note to the case for someone to reach out to me and still none has bothered to send an email or call me back. USPS, this is UNACCEPTABLE when you loose a piece of your "most secure" registered mail and don't have a decency to at least keep your customers updated on what's going on.

This place is a joke, I never use the postal service because they could screw up a wet dream but someone sent me a money order so I came here to cash it. The government slug at the counter made me sign it in front of her and then told me that the post office didn’t have enough money to cash it. I asked what happens now that I signed it in front of her so she wrote an excuse on a post it note and said come back in a hour when her coworker returns from lunch.

Unbelievable customer service! When I completely screwed up the mailing labels of two packages, they retrieved them and helped me fix them. They. Are. Awesome.

DON'T apply for your passport here if you were born abroad! They don't know what qualifies as primary proof of US citizenship. I arrived about 5 weeks ago to apply for my passport, had every document available that was listed on the travel.state.gov website, presented my Certification of Birth Abroad (which is technically my birth certificate) and they told me that it could not be accepted as primary proof of citizenship and that I needed to apply for a full birth certificate with more details and tried to tell me to go online to figure out what else I needed and reschedule another appointment (remind you, I waitedat least 5 weeks for this appointment). They obviously didn't know what they were talking about. I literally left there, went to a County Courthouse without appointment and with the same exact documents I presented to USPS, walked in at 130pm, came out at 135pm, and 5.5 weeks later, I have my passport in hand! Born in the US or not, I wouldn't trust them with any of my business outside of regular mail.

This is the worst post office in San Antonio. Anything I order online and have shipped through USPS never arrives at my front door. Their drivers are slackers; all they do is leave a note in my mailbox to redeliver when I am home, and they never knock! Not only that, but this post office's phone is never answered! I have filed a complaint against this post office because they are really unprofessional!
