United States Postal Service, Liberty Hill TX

USPS Liberty hill is responsible for destroying $2500 worth of my insulen.shipped in from out of state, received by liberty hill post.got an email saying it was lost. Found it in their center 7 days later, unrefrigerated and ruined. Got a voicemail saying they found it, and gave me a non working number to call to see how I wanted to handle it as they sent me a email at the same time saying they have already sent it back to the vendor. So now I get to try to explain to my insurance company why theyre out $2500 worth of med and have to supply me with more of this med that my life depends on. This mess up is bad enough that I am tempted to pursue compensation for my time, and risk to my health as a result of their mishandling of medical supplies.

This is by far, the WORST post office I have ever delt with, including USPS in four states. Not only do they make excuse after excuse (12 so far) to not pick up packages, including saying that they did pick up (when the package is still on the porch), but now they are making up excuses not to deliver! The latest is that the path to the door was blocked. A wide open driveway and sidewalk, with a wide open porch and people home all day is "a blocked access" in their books.
I now go out of my way to drive all packages for my small business to another post office.
I've had three different supervisors call to apologize, but really, apologies mean nothing when the problem doesn't get fixed.

Old retired lady servicing NGR community is absolutely horrible and unprofessional. She will take the package and slammed it on the ground and hope it will break whatever is in the package or throw it directly on our landscaped plants! Finally we have cameras installed and just caught her in the act!

I just want to take a moment to recognize Bob for the thoughtful courtesy he did me & my new pet today - I was expecting a shipment of a live aquatic animal and Bob called and left me a voicemail to let me know the package had sustained some damage and was leaking. Because I was towards the end of the delivery route, he felt there may be a risk to the animal by letting it sit in the heat until she got to me and decided to give me a call to let me know she could be picked up at the air conditioned office instead. I have never heard of anyone doing this before and truly appreciate him giving me the opportunity to pick her up instead of just letting her go on in the delivery route in a compromised box. It was a small courtesy to pick up the phone to do that and in doing so, he probably saved her life (at the very least, a great deal of stress!) She is doing great so far - thank you, Bob!

I am signed up for the Daily Digest letting you know what mail is being delivered. However, twice this week it shows what mail was delivered. But when checking the mail, we have no mail? What is going on here in LH?

Well I been here for over 6 years and my neighbor still gets my mail also. During the week day they use to come threw at 2 pm. Now 5 pm. On the weekend use to come threw at 1 now 3 or 4. Com on man or woman.

Have community mailboxes and mail ends up in niehbors box all the time. It's like the carriers for this post office don't care and or don't pay attention to what box they put things in.

My favorite post office. Amanda and Bernatice? Are so helpful and pleasant and help me out with whatever questions I have. No complaints about mail delivery either. THE BEST post office everr.

I'm giving a 3 because the delivery has gotten much more reliable than when I first moved here six yrs ago. My packages from eBay used to get misdelivered routinely. And the manager was a cretin too.

Never using this post office again. Paid $25.00 on June 18th 2021 to ship a package to a west Texas city, and it still has not been delivered and the last date on the tracking was June 21st. Today is June 25th. There is no option to talk to a customer service person when you call the number they provide. I have no idea where the package is other than it was picked up at Liberty Hill post office. My only option is to go back to the post office in person, and they are clueless. So frustrating.

So i have had several packages lost by this post office and just recently I thought I was gonna lose another but spoke with someone truly helpful and they held it for me to pick up. I believe his name was Hector. Still unsure how the mistake happened but im moving it up to 4 stars purely for this single person that was helpful. Appreciate your help kind sir!

I have experienced only good service by all employees at the LH post office.
Friendly, helpful personnel. I prefer them over other local cities.

I have lived here for 10 years and the service the last year is TERRIBLE! We regularly get other peoples mail and they lose ours on a weekly basis. This is just unacceptable on so many levels!

Staff is great when I go in but they frequently delivery the mail to the wrong box, wrong house, wrong keys left to lock boxes, keys left and no package inside, frequently lost packages, rude and incompetent delivery people. Wish they would hire someone that’s worth it that can properly perform one of the simplest jobs this country offers. Good grief.

This location has convinced me we need to privatize the Postal Service. They lost my package containing live plants. 2 weeks later I got them - dead.

The service is terrible. Our packages never get delivered and when you go in, it seems like they have something better to do. It showed a package was delivered and it is not in our box. When I asked about it all I was told is that it was delivered. HORRIBLE
