We have rented a PO box here for over 16 years now due to the dedicated service of professionals like Juliana and Vince who help resolve problems as quickly as they can given the resources provided against a lack of patience from the general public who has an apathetic attitude towards people of service. These people and ALL mail carriers/professionals are to be commended and we look forward to a continuous relationship with the Garland USPS!

Just moved to Garland and my mailman has left the mailbox open several time in the short time I’ve been here. He just delivered a package but just carelessly dropped it on the porch instead of placing it. It was so loud I heard it from inside the house. Also, since we just moved here we are receiving the old homeowners mail and have been stamping it return to sender, this lazy guy had been ignoring them and letting them stack up and now we have days worth of mail he has been ignoring. I used to deliver packages this laziness is ridiculous.

Even though it says online to CALL to make an appointment to get a passport this is not true. When I called the VERY rude woman told me to go online and set an appointment. Just letting everyone know so that you don’t get spoken to like you are an idiot. Don’t call to make an appointment- they cannot write or put the information in a computer here. You must do this online as well. Why can’t people just help anymore?

I had a passport appointment for my 3 children at 2pm on Tuesday 8/08/23. I was under the impression that my appointment was at 2: 30. I arrived at the passport counter at 2: 05 thinking I was early. I was acknowledged by Dea as she told me she would be right with me with a very kind attitude. She was still helping her previous passport appointment. I had the time to review the posted fee chart, fill out my application and I even had enough time to go across the hall to buy a money order. After receiving my money order, I even had sufficient time to go get my children from the car to come inside since there was seating space for them. After my children and I make it back into the passport office, Dea was still attending her previous customer. After 5 more minutes, she was done and asked for my last name as she was ready for me. However she mentioned she would only process 1 of my 3 appointments because I had arrived late. I told her we should at least have enough time to process two since she was still helping another customer even after my arrival. Her response was " That would be up to me though" with a very prepotent attitude. Another woman who appeared to be a supervisor of some sort walked up and asked what the problem was. I explained that I was apparently a few minutes late to my appointment and I was asking if Dea could at least process 2 of my appointments. Dea intercepted and told the woman " I told her that would be up to me " leading this woman to back her up and repeated the same to me " That would be up to her". Dea then told her, "I need to talk to you over there" as they both went to the back and spent another 5 minutes of MY scheduled time talking about whatever. Dea returns and processes only 1 of my 3 children. After she finishes, I asked her if she could process one more and she despitefully said "No". I turned around and walked out having an entire 15 minutes of my scheduled time still. She could have processed at least one more. As I walked out, she let out a unnecessary and unprofessional giggle.
Dea's lack of professionalism and lack of empathy has truly affected me more than she imagined. I had to travel to Houston to collect a signature from my ex husband and ex abuser as 2 of my children are still under age and need their father's consent and signature. I had to reopen old wounds to meet up with this person on top of additional expenses I had to make to travel and hire a mobile notary to meet me at my ex husbands house and beg him to sign. I understand that if I was late, she could have avoided processing one of my appointments but the fact that she despitefully declined to process one more having sufficient time to do so is the evidence of her lack of professionalism. I was not rude, I was not disrespectful in any way. She just didn't like my question to her when I asked her how my tardiness mattered if she was still busy with her previous customer until well 2: 15pm. I don't know Dea's seniority at this location but I believe a supervisor needs to remind her that she is still an employee being paid to perform a job. And that job happens to be: CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Dea she was truly amazing. She warmly welcomed everyone and handled each individual with a smile! She made the process of applying for a US passport incredibly smooth and hassle-free.

Went as a walk-in for a passport application. I arrived at 8: 30 am and there was already a line for passports. The passport office only accepts 4 walk-ins on Mondays and Wednesdays so I was lucky enough to get spot #4. Despite being there at 8: 30 am and having to wait until 10: 00 am to officially been helped and seen the worker was very friendly and helped with the process well. It makes sense that as a walk-in you would have to wait so being patient is needed. Despite waiting as long as you’re within the first 4 people you’ll be out by 11: 00 am at the latest.shoutout to Dea for being so helpful

Worst service we've had in 46 years (home delivery). We sometimes get mail after 8: pm. Sometimes, they never show at all. Very frustrating, to say the least.

My mail had been opened before I even got it. Just got my mail from the mailbox and this is what I find in the mix. It looked like a piece of mail that would carry a paycheck, however it was just junk. But the fact that someone could open my mail is ridiculous.

They are the nicest! Sometimes there is a long line however, I would prefer to wait than to go to any other post office (looking at you, Rowlett). They are so helpful and understanding and I appreciate their patience.
