United States Postal Service, Azle TX

We were in a pinch to get passports and the waits even just for an appointment are long. Very long. Decided to save a week and make the drive to Azle for the appointment.
Don't make the same mistake I did! These people do not understand the passport application process and will require types of applications and proofs of citizenship that the Western Passport Office personally told me was NOT required. Their failing resulted in me losing my birth certificate, which was never required for my RENEWAL. Not only was the woman who was supposed to help us INCREDIBLY rude and condescending, she continously threatened my entire application being rejected unless I followed her made up rules!
Please spare yourself the trouble, go anywhere else.

My order was within walking distance at the Azle post office. I get update on my phone notifying me that it went all the way to Grand Prairie. This is after yesterday going and trying to pick up my order they said. ”no we can’t give it to you nowMy order was within walking distance at the Azle post office. I mean, it’s a post office not sure what you expect

One thing I did notice was I brought a package in and normally in Arlington post office they are able to scan my tracking number to print a label for my package here they were unable to do it and I did find that quite strange. The lady behind the counter did make an effort to try to do it on their computer system but for some reason it wasn’t letting her do it. I guess this location doesn’t have the computer system for it.

Worst ever. Our mail carrier picks up outgoing mail and no one ever sees it again.this has happened multiple times. Mail doesn’t get delivered, I’ve had important documents never get delivered, had it re-sent and didn’t get those either. We’ve complained several times and now what little mail does get delivered he doesn’t bother to close the mail box so it gets wet when it rains or gets blown all over the yard. I’d almost rather them hold my mail and I’ll pick it up once a week than have the carrier touch it. I’d like to know what he is doing with the mail. Does he keep it, burn it? Because he isn’t delivering it.

We’ve become frequent visitors due to our mail being routed here for a month and all I can say are positive things about the staff. We had packages being held and they always searched for them due to our whole neighborhood being routed there I know it’s hard. I appreciate to their help during this last month. All of the them are hard working and nice and dedicated. Thank you.

The Azle Post Office and its workers are awesome. They are nice, careful, and usually early! I even called and they answered!

This is the worst post office I have ever delt with. They have shipped packages numerous times to different addresses, what is more irritating, they don’t ever answer the phones. Useless, incompetent, lazy employees!

I REALLY wanted to not write this review, but my hope is it helps save someone some time. I have a little side hustle selling things online which need to be shipped. Well my regular job prohibits me from being here before the post office closes. At our last house and every other location I’ve been to, the post office has a large one way drop box in the lobby you can access 24hrs for smaller packages. This one doesn’t. So I drive the 15 mi there and find this out the hard way. Then I drive another 15 minutes to the next closest one in Springtown and they don’t have one either. On top of that the drop boxes in front of the Azle one for regular mail are all taped closed too!

****Update**** The Azle location always does a Great job of scanning items left at the end of the counter with prepaid labels on them. They've also fixed the mailboxes at the street. Still no functioning larger drop box inside, but I'm able to make the lobby hours work. On top of that that the people are friendly and seem to care.
I have ZERO faith in the Weatherford location as the last couple times they failed to scan items until they get to Fort Worth. As an ebay seller it is important that packages are scanned when dropped off. DO YOUR JOB WEATHERFORD.
