Contacted them twice about a vehicle. Even went to the location to see the vehicle which is on their lot. I even talked to the receptionist about the vehicle. This all happened within 3 days. Receptionist said she would give my info to the finance dept and have them call me. Well it's 2 days later and I still haven't heard back from them yet. I guess my money not good enough for them

I have been here twice for my state inspection. The most recent time, there were several problems found with my car and I knew that was likely to happen due to not driving or maintaining it much during the pandemic. They spent an extra hour photographing each of the parts tested and of concern so that they could be viewed online by anyone with the link. They quoted me for the repairs but since I know nothing about cars, I took mine out of their shop and to the SE side of Houston to a shop run by my best friend's Dad. The pictures they took enabled him to order all the parts needed before my car even arrived and allowed for a much quicker turnaround. He informed me that the quote Universal gave me was extremely fair and reasonable price and only a bit more than what he charged me. Considering the amount of time and work that Universal put in to take pictures of my car and that I was still only charged $25 total for the entirety of the process, I feel comfortable trusting them with my car and my money in the future since they are much closer to my house than my best friend's Dad. I will be taking my vehicle to them in the future.

I purchased tires at Discount Tire. Universal partners with them offering a discount wheel alignment. I needed general maintenance as well and my air conditioning serviced. They took care of everything. They provided shuttle service. I was very pleased with the service and price. I needed to bring the car back to have the air conditioning re-checked and they took care of it. I highly recommend Universal Auto Center

In all honesty I thought it was too good to be true, a selection of well maintained vehicles in immaculate condition, I found a unique opportunity to buy a car I know will last. For the first time I felt I bought a brand new used car. The vehicle was shipped to me fast. The staff was very bold, confident, and knew exactly what I was looking for, all doubts were erased via a FaceTime call, this changed my skepticism. These are great people, they have a great selection, excellent service, my best car buying experience ever.

Thank you guys for everything! You guys went above an beyond. This is not your standard mechanic/dealership. I purchased a use truck from these guys and again they went above and beyond. They could of sold my the truck as is. I went to test drive a truck that drove beautifully but had a lot of mileage. I took it to another mechanic to get a second opinion and saw there was a oil leak. These GUYS fixed it with no questions. Not only fixed the problem but did it with integrity. We arrived to see what work was done and showed us all the details done and completed.

Sales is sales at the end of the day. I understand this but they do not just try to make a quick sale. They were there from start to finish! Again, thank you guys!

Although we did not end up buying a car here, we had a good look at a few and did some test driving. The vehicles are well maintained and are in excellent condition at a fantastic price. David even offered to put any car I was interested in on the lift to take a good look underneath. The service is leagues better than even some of the dealers we went to, and David was very transparent about any concerns that we had (which were very few).
Will definitely come back here when I need a used car or car repair service.

This hack of a shop is no good. They stole my ez oil valve, planted oil on my oil pan trying to say Im leaking oil. I was referred to this hack shop by discount tire to get a couple of wheel studs fixed that they stripped. So yeah I would NOT use either shop if you care about your vehicle. I do recommended using Midas, 2500 S Dairy Ashford Rd. Those guys will take excellent care of you!

David is a crook, he posts fake reviews, every single one that's positive is a fake. I got ripped off by this guy, chose a different provider if you don't want to be ripped off.

I’ve been coming here por the past 10 years and I have to say is the only place in Houston where I would take my cars to. They are professional, experienced, and HONEST! They don’t rip you off like other mechanic shops or dealership. They treat you with respect and excellent customer service.
