University Medical Center of El Paso reviews
14The care is lousy. I took my daughter for gastritis and they spent hours without attending to her. Although my daughter was in great pain, they ignored her
If you're operators reflect the same sense of urgency as your staff then we're all dead. Extremely sub par and I'd rather suffer than deal with any of you.
First warning sign, 1) The Hospital is on Alameda Street, 2) It's a County Hospital, 3) It used to be called RE Thomason General Hospital, 4) The positive spin on the new name is wearing off.
We should sue that filthy place all day long for nothing, we have the right to health and it is being denied to us, if they want to be cured, don't even come close to this, in the veterinarians they treat ANIMALS a thousand times better but for these inhumans we are less than ANIMALS!
Worst hospital ever past the e.r. My wife couldn't eat solid food and they proceeded to feed her food she couldn't eat. This is the second time dealing with this place and still horrible. I was in this place when I was 21 and will never forget the horrible experience.
Excelente servicio in the ER. Teaching hospitals are the best places to receive care. They are very thorough.
Worst hospital in El Paso! Waited 6 hours just to hear, " you might have to wait until tomorrow for results? " I've been here since around 2or 3pm you expect me to starve and cell die too huh?
I brought my wife because she had been throwing up and has diarrhea all morning she's very weak, we've been waiting for 4 hours and still haven't been called this place is straight bull$#! &
Terrible experience. We waited there for 9+ hours just for ultrasound results turns out the results were ready a long time ago and we waited for no reason we had to go up to the front desk to even find out that they were ready
Shoutout to labor and delivery! Nurse aurora emma and night nurse Michelle you all have my heart! I have no family in El Paso and you made my firstborn and me feel at home! Much love
My brother took his friend to this exact place, His friend's Small finger was bleeding because of the impact he had while working, i am very disappointed that the doctor took forever, and now they are saying they cant really help him? Wow. I am soooo impressed
Not the place to go if your problem isn't basic and/or obvious. Like an arm hanging off.
I went in for chest pain related to Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. Not a heart problem.
I went through all the tests to make sure, though, although I kept telling them what it was.
Tests came back fine. Of course they did.
Now, this point, I'm crying and in so much pain, anxiety thru the roof. MS is a monster. It's a degenerating nerve disease. And I'm real far along.
Bottom line, none of them were remotely familiar with my condition, had me swallow LIDOCAINE for the chest pains. Did NOT help at all, obviously. And my breakdown was not at all addressed.
Three different doctors in four hours, it was not a good experience. They were nice, just not aware.
I guess it's normal for them to have patients that just sit (in a tiny cubicle) and cry constantly for 4-5 hours at a time, out of fear and anxiety. Which is one of the things I came in for!
If you can make it somewhere else, please do.
Patient right now. Doctor told me 12 hours ago I was getting antibiotics. Nurse came 1/2 hour ago but there was no IV pump. Haven't heard anything since. Everything runs at a disorganized snails pace here. People seem nice enough but damn 12 hours to get antibiotics?
Edit: now 13 hours, I asked again and still nothing. Going to try to go to sleep and then leave this place in morning and find a hospital that will actually implement the treatments they prescribe.
