University of Houston-Downtown (UHD)

If you’re a VA student looking at the data analytics program, look elsewhere. My first issue was the R Studio class where “R” was not opened throughout the entire semester and the instructor read off a PPT. Secondly, you have to stay on the certifying office for your VA education or you won’t get paid.

Most recently they removed my VA hold and dropped me from my class even though I’m fully covered. I couldn’t get in touch with anyone for weeks. I ended up deciding to drop the other class I was enrolled in or it and the refuse to give me no grade because I logged into the class:

03/27/2023:
3/31 for 2 minutes,
04/01 for 4 minutes
04/02 for 23 minutes
04/04 for 1 minute
04/05 for 17 minutes
04/07 for 33 minutes

They can send you a list of times you login but can’t respond to your 10 emails.

Just save yourself the hassle.

Clean campus. Easy access to transportation between campus and Downtown.

Terrible parking lot. And terrible and unprofessional staffs from admissions office.

I like the way this schools class schedule and everything is set up but LORD when it comes to the financial aid process I cannot stand it. This school had the most unprofessional and unorganized financial aid disbursement and representatives I have ever came across. Will be complaining higher up because the amount of tuition that is being paid is ridiculous to get this type of service.
