Upside SportsPlex, Alvin TX

I was so happy to see such a beautiful, neat / clean and quality place. It was just a brief visit. I will add more to the review once we are done with our day there later this month.

One side is for seating and there is plenty. Great space for AAU and other basketball events.

Clean, bright facility. Staff was pleasant. It was nice to have free WiFi & an area outside of the gym to work while my son trained.

Great facility. A lot bigger than it looks on the outside. Definitely needs more parking space!

Nice facility. Air conditioning was nice and cool. Court 1 is a single court with 3 rows of metal spectator benches. Courts 2 & 3 are located together but divided by a fabric wall, each with 3 rows of metal benches. The fabric wall blocked most of the whistles from the other court so it wasn't too bad. Can't bring your own food though. Would have liked to bring healthier stuff than was served at the snack bar.

Had an argument with another pickleball player, staff handled it like professionals. Lots of good courts for open play.

My first visit to the gym and it was on a Saturday for Son basketball game.
Fee to enter, and was very crowded. Court is a good size, games were shorter than we are used to with YMCA.

They sell snacks which is a plus!

The parking lot could be bigger

They offer camps and coaching per the posters I saw up on the wall

Really loved the atmosphere and the facility. The bathrooms were clean even with hundreds of girls playing basketball and throughout the 2 days all day long. The seating was also good with multiple tournaments on each floor. The only criticism is the inner snack bar with ice cream servings. The food preparation was deplorable. The cones were sitting directly on the counter and exposed. The strawberries were inside a container with used and whole strawberries not stored in the fridge (didnt apoear to have been washed), and banana peels still left on the counter while the worker was scrolling and eating pop-corn. Sales were missed due to poor food presentations.

Love what they are doing here. Lots to do at great prices. More things here than you would think and it's very big. Go check them out.

Upside is a fantastic venue for indoor pickleball. They have 9 courts! There is a nice, new gym with exercise equipment too. The management is excellent. All the employees are very friendly and helpful!

This is a great gym for some Be Someone Basketball. The gym's are top notch, along with the bathrooms as well.

$15 to watch 9yo nephew play basketball? Guess they’re not making enough robbing old ladies and stealing baby formula. Creeps

My son plays Basketball here. The courts are great. The facility is great, and the owners really keep the place top notch!
