Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park reviews
17 We have 4 boys and have booked & hosted several bday parties at UA Hudson Oaks. We've always been pretty pleased with how they go. Our kids LOVE them and our 9 year old requested his party be at UA again this year. Prices had gone up but, where haven't they, right? We went ahead and ordered extra sodas and pizza & paid for an additional 5 kiddos to party (15 total). Overall, the party itself was good - we had a great host that helped with our party room and the kiddos were happy. Here's where I'm at a 3 star review - (1) Minor but also, kind of a big deal. We were sent an email for $100 off a bday party reservation literally within hours of booking the party. I called immediately and staff was unwavering on refunding or even giving some sort of add on to our party. It was pretty much a sorry not sorry call. "We've been getting these calls all day. Nothing we can do. " (2) We had a couple of siblings of invited guests show up to play b/c they had season passes to UA. Staff MADE the family put their kiddos under our party saying it wasn't fair to allow them to use their passes when it was for a bday party booked by us even when the mom explained they weren't actually invited to the party, only their older brother was. This blows my mind! The mom felt TERRIBLE. And, as a result, we had our own older children not participate so we wouldn't go over our # of booked children. (3) We booked one of the top tier parties and the kiddos couldn't even use the climbing wall. We knew they wouldn't be able to do the lazer tag and zip line but seriously.so expensive for what you get! The party was $600 total - 15 kids, one party room, 4 pizzas, 2 plasptic pitchers of sprite, water, and basic trampoline activity. We were tired of surprises at this point and just wanted to be done. We tipped our room gal and were honestly relieved to be done with the party.: (
We definitely won't be booking another party.
We had a great experience having our son’s birthday party at Urban Air. Solo, our party coordinator, was amazing and super attentive.
The facility is great. But thw company not so much. Know what your getting when yiu have a membership. I misunderstood the terms becaue I was told by the staff that it was monthly and it is a 12 month contract. You can not cancel until after the 12th month is paid. Then when you cancel
access ends immediately and you do not have the remaining time in the pay period to use the membership. Example, you are charged the monthly fee on the 4th of every month and call to cancel on the 6th of the same month so you are not billed the following month. You will not be refunded or be able to attend after the 6th.
Today was the final straw for us. It's 16° outside. AFTER entering and paying, realizing the place was cold AF and we weren't warming up I asked them if their heater was broke. An employee told me it was not working. We couldn't stay long. It was way too cold. By this time I couldn't even feel my fingers. I asked if we could get a voucher or ticket of some sort to come back. They said no. They should at least advise ppl the heater is broke BEFORE paying. We paid for the Platinum package. Not cool.
Look, I loved Urban Air Hudson Oaks. It was the one place west of Fort Worth that was really quality.
Now, today I tried to bring my daughter only to find that they've reduced their hours and don't open until 4: 00 p.m. During the week! What the heck good is that? My daughter is crying and I'm extremely disappointed.
This piss poor decision took off the table one of the only places for parents of preschool-aged children to take their little ones to have safe and quality entertainment during the day time hours. Opening at 4: 00 p.m. Clearly caters to the after-school age groups and it clearly abandons parents of younger children.
Really impressed with how well maintained this place is! Tables were clean, no trash on the floor, Everyone who was working saturday was really working hard! The only complaint I had were the bathrooms, walked in on one stall with poo all over the seat and floor. Nightmare fuel. But other than that I'd really consider this place for my own kids birthday!
My grandson invited a few of his school friends to hang out for a few hours. They had a good time. I called to get directions and I was very disappointed no one that worked there could tell me what exit to take off I-20 and what streets to turn on. My car navigation GPS didn't recognize the address nor did maps on my phone.
Had my son’s birthday party at this location. Our party host, Emmi was absolutely fantastic! She was very attentive and professional. Facility was clean & well maintained. The whole party process was seamless and easy!
Emmi is Awesome! She totally helped me with moral support on the zip line because this mom is scared! Not only that, the kids loved her as our party hostess. She is great, give this girl a raise!
Like most establishments that cater to children, the majority of the staff are young adults likely in high-school and college.
Today, my family witnessed as a group 6-8 year-olds completed a game of laser tag. As expected, the children ran to the game board to see their scores. Very few of the children put their vests back on the hook as most of them meant to play another round.
Our family was waiting for vests and as expected not everyone was able to get one. Which explained to our kids that was our luck and they could play next round.
Another family near us had a very different reaction. One of the adults began yelling at the staff and the children.
This is when I thought I may need to assist as I provide training for crisis situations and de-escalation strategies. However, the young woman employed at Urban Air was showed to be very calm and capable. Her skillset in de-escalating a grown man yelling at her was flawless.
While I was initially shocked at this man's behavior I left impressed by this young lady.
I think it shows that the management at Urban Air invests in training their staff.
Edited: so I came back and had a much better experience- pizza was better, floors clean, and staff was attentive- earning back 2 stars (from 2.to 4 stars)
I know - it’s not all about the food but the pizza here taste disgusting- like chemicals were spilled on the dough - talk about ruining a experience
And if you can see below … CLEAN! That’s disgusting seriously
Urban air is always a cool place to take the kids. What is not to like? They have literally something for just about everyone in the family no matter the age (although geared towards older kids). So many different activities that makes your inner child wish you could still do some of the fun things they have here. The staff was really friendly at this location. Overall, it was apparently clean. They do close from 2-4 during the week just FYI. I would visit here again.
It's fun for kids if u just wanna take a break or u could play with ur kids I would definitely recommend it
I moved to Plano TX and it is not convenient to go anymore. I tried canceling at Weatherford location. They said I can only cancel with corporate and gave me a email address. I have emailed 3 times and have gotten no response. They continue to debit my debit card. I will notify the better business burea and let the Wells Fargo fraud prevtion department know of this fraudulent activity. My advice is di not give them your credit card or debit card info. This place is a scam!
We had our daughters 11th birthday today and everything was perfect! Easiest birthday party I have done! Our host was Toby and he was great!
Everything was great! Our host for our party Destiny was amazing, she even played with the kids! Thank you Destiny!
Amazing experience. The manager Payton was a really kind gentleman. Very polite and very helpful. Definitely will be coming back.
