Urban Lagree reviews
9The owners here are so kind and supportive - especially to moms trying to balance it all!
Urban Lagree is the best lagree workout I have ever done! The instructors are always so kind and welcoming, and the classes are always challenging in a great way. I recently switched from primarily HIIT workouts looking for a lower impact but similarly difficult workout and lagree has been that for me. The owners have done an amazing job!
Urban Lagree is one of the best work outs I have had in a long time! Beautiful studio, attentive and well trained instructors, and really creative movements that leave you feeling like you can’t wait to go back and get more at your next class! I was brand new and the owners both happened to be there…they were both so attentive in checking in with me and making sure I was practicing proper form as I learned. It’s the strength work out with major sweat and great music I have been needing in my life!
I had always thought of Pilates as something catered mainly to women. I was pleasantly surprised by intensity of the workout and the diverse clientele! The owners clearly care about providing the right instruction to each client, and I love that the workouts are easy to scale depending on my energy level and experience.
From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff. Jabree was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly motivating yet patient, pushing us to our limits while ensuring proper form and technique. It's transformed my strength and flexibility. I’ll be back - highly recommend!
I LOVE Urban Lagree! I’ve been a client since the opening and have nothing but great things to share about both locations of Urban. I’ve taken Lagree classes around town and Urban is always a favorite. The studios are clean, the instructors are talented and professional, and I always get a great workout. The east side location has megaformers with ramps and I think those might be the only ones in austin. If you get a chance to take a class at Urban, you won’t regret it!
Urban Lagree is by far my favorite workout in Austin and I would highly recommend giving this studio a try. The classes are challenging but highly modifiable and accommodating for beginners. The owners and instructors are all lovely and they really explain the moves and the why behind them as they go through the routine. The best part - the results you see in such a short period of time - strength, tone, definition. Love this workout and this studio!
I love Urban Lagree! I am about 100 classes in and go to both locations. I never knew what lagree was before and it is such a great workout, especially for core, legs, and muscles you didn’t know you had. The instructors are all so nice and will help you learn to do the moves the right way. Highly recommend!
I begrudgingly go because the Instructors are all so amazing! However the studio owners think that it's normal to take a week (+) to respond to any correspondence (phone, text, email) and their late polices aren't published anywhere but they will certainly hit you with a $10 cancel fee, even if you've been promoted from the waitlist. I understand having a late cancelation fee, but you 1.need to publish it 2.shouldn't be charging people for cancellations off of waitlist. It's like sitting by the phone and hoping your crush texts you to go out so you don't make any plans, just in case. Oh and if you get off of the waitlist, don't expect a text! Nope, that goes straight to your inbox, sometimes. I'm pretty sure at this point that 80% of their revenue comes from late fees.
