USMD Arlington South OB/GYN reviews
16Called twice and asked them to send me an email so I can set up my portal and both times once in person and once over the phone both different days they told me “yes I’m sending it now” so where’s the email? I checked my inbox and junk and made sure they confirmed the right email. They clearly don’t do their jobs. Also been waiting on two prescriptions I urgently needed and the pharmacist says they haven’t even received anything pending. My first time there and I won’t be back. If they can’t make time to send me an email or send a prescription the day of then it isn’t worth my money or time. I should’ve known better from reading the other reviews.
When I was seeing Dr. Lopez as an GYN patient I loved the experience, Never had any types of issues with scheduling or getting a call back regarding questions/concerns. Now that I’m currently 10 weeks pregnant I’m having issues like I never have before. I can’t get a call back for a prescription question and they won’t fill out my FMLA for my job which I made EVERYONE aware of when I went to my first appointment. I’m on the verge of losing my job and still can’t get answers about my prescription. It’s honestly really sad. Because I had high hopes for this office. Like I said never had an issue as a GYN patient but now I’m having all the issues. I will not be returning for my next OB appointment.
The worse place if I could give 0 stars I would. Always rescheduling and do not even honor the grace period they set up.
Dr. Lopez and Shannon the ultrasound tech were amazing! This was my first ever ultrasound and Shannon called the day before to let me know what I needed to do and she took tons of pictures and even gave us duplicates! Dr. Lopez was super helpful and answered both questions that I had and even ones I hadn't thought of. She gave us tons of super helpful information to look over for the future. Cannot recommend this place enough!
After Dr. Patel left the office has gone down hill. Doctors are great. Front office staff are completely rude now! Attitudes if they are corrected and from there out. I won't be back after my last visit with them. Communication isn't great either.
The staff that schedules the appointments is extremely rude and lacks empathy. I called to schedule an appointment as soon as possible for a condition that is worsening and the scheduler tried to achedule an appointment for two weeks from today! Her name was Keisha. They need to train their staff to have a better understanding of customer service skills. I doubt anyone with worsening conditions wants to wait TWO weeks to see their doctor. Will be changing drs. Not worth spending my deductible or even using my insurance at a clinic that cares so little for their patients.
The front desk staff is horrible. I am not sure if they just repeatedly horrible to me but after 20 years of seeing the same doctor I have to find a new one. They don't communicate well, they are rude to patients, they don't apologize when they offend patients, and they apply exceptions to certain people but not for others. I hate to leave my provider but the front office staffs lack of customer service is unacceptable.
I just waited over an hour on hold in their automated phone system to try to schedule an appointment only to have the call disconnected. I love my OBGYN but this is terrible and after nearly 20 years, I’m disappointed enough to consider changing providers.
Everyone real nice. Service quick no long waiting. Nurse nice and friendly. Dr. Rachel Davis great. Made feel comfort with exam and questions.
I am giving this place 2 stars because when I 1st started seeing doctor Atkins I loved my experience. After a few years things are going downhill. It was almost impossible to get in touch with anyone in the office because you had to go through a call system. It took me 3 weeks to get a medication refill. We played phone tag for weeks. I don't understand why they wouldn't answer through the email system they encouraged me to use. I use to be able to be connected to a nurse right away and then it turned to message only. The office blames the call center the call center blames the office but either way no one ever took care of what was needed.
I decided to change doctors 20 weeks into pregnancy. Getting them to release my records was a nightmare. I called and the staff did not know which medical release form to send to me. They sent me to a web page with multiple different release forms. I turned in 3 and never got my records.
Now i am 35 weeks and got 2 letters in the mail on the same day. Both letters stated that they finally noticed that I wasn't showing up and legally would be releasing me from their care. On top of that the last sentence states "Enclosed is a medical records release for for your convenience " Take a guess at what was not enclosed.
The front desk staff are rude. The first girl needs customer service training. She acts like you’re lying when you hand her an insurance card she’s never seen. The older lady to the right needs to learn to speak quieter. It doesn’t matter how good a doctor is if their staff is horrible.
Honestly, I used to love this office and my doctor there.
However it seems ever since they moved to the new location things have gone drastically down hill.
Every appointment I’ve tried to make has either not been scheduled properly or not scheduled at all.
I’ll make the appointment over the phone and it never actually got scheduled.
This has happened now three times.
The nurses are very short and impersonally.
The front desk staff is also super short.
I understand things are crazy right now but it’s really frustrating to do something that’s already kind of scary but then to feel like you’re a nuisance on top of it is sad.
Wish they cared enough to fix this but i think they care more about getting more money from more patients than they do actually caring for them in the first place.
Previously I was a patient of Dr. Finke. I am now a patient of Dr. Lopez. Their office is very professional and clean. I have also seen the NP and she was great. Most of all, this office is extremely efficient, which in my opinion, is the best part. I like to get in and get out.
Dr. Finke retired and I am seeing Dr. Lopez, she is very nice and seemed knowledgeable in all the topics we discussed. The new office is so different. Exam rooms are cold and impersonal (I liked the exam rooms before they changed it) The lab tech was also very cold and almost rude. Not only is the new office not warm and inviting, it seems some the staff has taken on that demeanor too. Disappointed.
It absolutely floored me for a physician NOT to promote a healthy diet (fewer sweets and carbs) for an insulin dependent diabetic “because A1C has been ok”.
DO NOT become a patient with this Medical Clinic of North Texas, and if you are a patient you have a choice to leave. Do not be afraid to change Doctors. It is not worth the hassle. The administrative staff will push you to pay for your appointment before you even see the doctor. We pay for all claims through our insurance portal, and they badger you to pay upfront. AVOID THIS PRACTICE! CHANGE YOUR DOCTOR IF YOU ARE A PATIENT. You don't have to take this kind of abuse.
