Vantage Point Counseling Services, Dallas TX

I started therapy with Vantage Point a few months ago and my experience has been very positive. I am an attorney and was searching for help processing secondary trauma effects coupled with the trauma of my own personal experiences. The therapist I'm working with is extremely patient and knowledgeable in the area of trauma. They've offered tools that have helped me work through what I'm feeling, and they've been open to hearing about what is not working and that's allowed me to feel comfortable sharing more about myself. There are several therapists in the practice, and they are flexible with scheduling. I highly recommend reaching out and trying them out.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to interact with Michael, as we both belong to the same professional association that works with trauma. His ethics are solid. He shows deep concern for others. He is a fearless advocate for marginalized communities who don't always have a voice at the table. He has also published a well needed book on working with vulnerable clients. I highly recommend that you request him as your therapist if you are seeking services at Vantage Point.

They are a money driven practice which is fine to a point because they are a business of course, but they are unwilling to work with clients. Also they will try to charge your card before your appointments without telling you.
