VCA Westside Animal Hospital, Pearland TX

Originally when we came in, they were so polite.now that they are not allowing people to come inside with their pets they are taking FULL advantage of sticking it to you financially.my dog has been in pain for over a week now.they asked me to drop him off and they never saw him.the next day they FINALLY saw him and charged me $100 for antibiotic shot to hold him until he had availability on his books. I called a few days later and the doctor refused to proceed with the procedure until blood work (the doctor just told me he was NOT comfortable poking a 15 year old dog unnecessarily which is why all of his shots range from 1 to 3 years now including the shot for boarding.which they could offer ALL dogs but they rather have you come in so they can empty out your pockets) completed so I dropped him back off (all during my working hours) only to pick him up and be charged $600.at this point it's CLEAR that Westside is taking FULL advantage of my dog's elderly age, my love for him (this dog has been EVERYWHERE with me) and the fact that I don't have access to confirm what you are and are not doing for my dog while he's in your possession!

My doggie had an emergency visit and they were very prompt and professional. They were also very caring in a time of need. It meant a lot me.

Today at 11: 15 am I called to the Pet Hospital to shot Vaccine for my dog. The staff said it was nearly a lunch time, but I could come from 14: 00pm to 16: 00pm. 14h25 I brought my dog come here, the staff here told me to wait outside in my car there will be staff to take care. I waited outside the car, It was really hot outside. Until 16h25pm I called the staff to make sure my dog ​​will take vaccine today because I had been waiting for more than 2 hours. The staff said sorry and promised to give some one go out to take care of my dog ​​in short times. And I continued to wait until 17: 25pm, the staff called me, telling me that they were too busy and couldn't take care of my dog, they told me will give me the address of a another Pet Hospital nearby. I think it's almost time out for work, so I didn't take the address. I disappointed with the service here. If your hospital is too busy, you can refuse to walk in guest and ask them to make an appointment for the next day.

The service is great. I wouldn't recommend walk-ins as you could be sitting in your car for hours. Make sure you make an appointment despite what they say even, if it's for meds.

We recently moved and were looking for a good vet office and found this one. The whole staff is amazing and so kind and courteous. This office will be where our fur baby will go from now on.

Great vetinary care provided to our pets for the past 20 years. They also provide boarding services which we needed in a pinch.

This was a private vetrinary practice, but it was sold to VCA in December. So far no issues and prices have not changed yet

Another person said how the medicine killed their dog and I had a similar situation. I took my dog in. Doctor prescribed medicine and a day later he died.

Great vets. Always accommodating to my schedule. Prices are fair, and knowledgeable doctors who care.

We have been going to Westside Veterinary Hospital for over 14 years. They are the best, most compassionate, and helpful group. All m animals and rescues have gone to Westside. Any questions and/or concerns are always handled well.

Dr. Farrar is an amazing doctor and surgeon. You can trust your pets life in her hands! Dr. Campbell is also amazing! I love that the receptionists go above and beyond, and the doctors personally call and are super reachable. All in all, the best vet I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to a bunch!

From the front deck people to the doctors. From the front door to the exam room. Everyone is nice and professional. Everything is clean and neat. Would not take my animals any other place.

Dr. Eickelman is great and I only schedule my dog's exams with her. The front desk and technicians are top notch as well. I really trust these guys.

Busy vet office because their prices are very competitive and the docs are first rate. They have extended hours on certain days which makes it easy to get an appointment. I love this team of pet professionals.

I go there to get heart worm medication for my puppy. I walk in and weigh her; they give me the appropriate dose.

ALL of the vets here are AWESOME! The office staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. It is a very clean environment. I take both of my cats here and they are always handled with care. They also offer spay and neuter discounts for pets that have been obtained through the local shelter. They also have another clinic location on the west side of Pearland, closer to Hwy 288. They also offer boarding services for dogs and cats.
