Vending Concepts, Fort Worth TX

Bought a snack and soda machine from this company, there was month delay on order, upon arrival my soda machine wasn't programmed to the specs ordered, then only after a month of operation the coil iced up due to poor installation of the compressor, company will not honor or refund for poor installation of parts. If you are in San Antonio, TX, do not buy from them, the extended warranty is expensive and the support team provided poor communication. Overall the company sold a defective product.

I have been in the vending business for about 3 months now and Vending Concepts has helped me every step of the way. They definitely know their stuff when it comes to troubleshooting machine issues.

I wanted to take the time to rereview, in the beginning it was a little rocky and I think for me it was more Deja-vu and being on edge after dealing with another well known vending company and getting screwed on a purchase. But I can say that Vending Concepts really came through and now I have a sense of relief and will definitely do business with them in the future. I have purchased 3 machines from them and I highly recommend them the customer service the communication exceeds expectation! Thank you Vending Concepts.

We purchased a machine from Vending Concepts TX so glad that we did. Our small business is located in Utah, and the service we have gotten from Vending Concepts TX is nothing short of excellent. Today they even help me install a credit card reader that was not theirs that they supplied. Excellent job.

This company is NOT a good option for people new to vending.
This company is hardly acceptable for someone to utilize who has experience in vending. My guess is that they are all subpar servicers and this one might have better customer service so it is more liked.

To start. The vending machine got to me WEEKs after the originally stated arrival date. This was, in part, because Vending Concepts partnered with XPO who is notoriously bad.

The vending machine *finally* arrived and was damaged. I went back and fourth with Vending concepts about it and ended up putting in a request with Arthur about this and, after months, never heard from him about a solution. No one from vending concepts actually ever expressed that filing a claim was my responsibility, the opposite was expressed. I was told that vending concepts was reaching out to XPO directly. Should I have been told differently, I could have followed up differently. The excuse that "we don't handle that" from vending concepts is not adequate as their CEO told me he was working to fix it.

Finally installed this product months later as I gave up on hearing back about the damage. There were wires just kind of hanging. This was especially frustrating as I was told that the machine and all of its parts, to include the credit card reader (which I paid extra for) would be ready to use as soon as I opened it.

After calling the card reading company (nayax) repeatedly and never receiving a response, I called vending concepts AGAIN who told me that they don't even use Nayax anymore and they were surprised it was installed. Looking at the BBB results on that company, that is not surprising news.
I did not request this item. No alternative options were presented. I was told by the person who sold me the machine that it comes ready to go. 2 weeks after the first time I tried to get a hold of nyack's they finally called me back and told me they were well outside of a 30-day window for activating credit card machines.

Vending concepts was only able to send me the email for enrollment and a pdf to submit to Nayax to request service. There is no phone contact available for that company. I still have not heard from them.

Finally the machine. It had multiple exterior spots of damage when taken out of the box. None of the spirals were attached. No manual was included. Multiple parts are broken and I can not use certain areas (Entire H row) because part holding the row is totally broken.

I give two stars because everyone responds well and their technician has been very helpful as I have had to call multiple times to ask for help in repairing/working the machine. I will use a local company in the future.

In November 2022, I entered a purchase contract agreement with Vending Concepts, for purchase of a refurbished Dixie Narco BevMax 4 vending machine from Vending Concepts ($6,243.00), which includes payment of $150.00 extra to have the refurbished machine cleaned and detailed to a Grade "A-excellent" condition.
Upon delivery, machine was damaged, dirty, missing several parts, had broke parts, and did not work to refrigerate the drink (faulty compressor unit). I immediately called Vending Concepts, stating I was going to refuse delivery of the faulty machine. Jorge from Vending Concepts pleaded that I keep the machine and he promised they would do everything to correct the situation and make the machine operational.
Days later, Jorge informed us they do not have a contracted vending repair technician in our area. I offered to provide two names/numbers of vending repair technicians that service Dixie Norco machines. He refused acceptance.
Thereafter, Vending Concepts new position is that they will only provide parts for all necessary repairs and they stated that I would be 100% responsible for the labor to refurbish the machine. Meaning, I must incur all labor cost to refurbish the defective vending machine they shipped to me.

This is a breech of contract, a fully functional refurbished machine was not delivered. I requested that Vending Concepts retrieve their faulty/defective vending machine and that I receive a full refund. Vending Concepts refused, verbally stating they will not process refund because we accepted delivery.

To date, Vending Concepts has continued to breech their contract and warranty. They refused to process return/refund and they continue to fail to deliver parts for the repairs/refurbishing; I still have not received: 1) missing internal parts for beverage delivery, 2) replacement of original Dixie/narco starter switch for compressor, 3) replacement of defective refrigerant compressor/cooling system, 4) damaged grill cover.
Vending Concepts Manager has stated that I would be responsible for paying all shipping/handling charges for parts since S&H is not included in their warranty. Additionally I was offered a refund in the form of credit towards the purchase of my next vending machine from vending concepts for their failure to have the machine cleaned and detailed and grade A-excellent condition.

I would never purchase another machine from this company and I would recommend it anyone looking to purchase a machine would run from this company as fast as possible.
They do not honor their contracts and they do not honor their warranty.

Having a not so good experience with my 1 of 2 machines I purchased, will wait to see how this ordeal plays out before I give a detailed experience review

Vending Concepts has been great since had my first phone call with Abe! He made the process easy and communication was extremely exceptional. When I needed tech support Jorge walked me through and taught me everything I needed to know! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you!

I bought a soda machine off them from them, only for them to tell me weeks later that the machine isn’t in stock and they will send me an alternative machine with same value but different brand. Well they sent that alternative machine and it was a load of garbage. It leaks water very bad, the cooling unit needed to be worked on because it stopped cooking like 2 days after buying, and a few pieces inside the machine were literally falling apart. Absolutely terrible machine I received I am so disappointed.

Bought my first vending machine with Vending Concepts. A little pricier than what I hear most Vending Influencers say you should spend, but for someone starting up in vending, I wanted to buy a machine that was thoroughly looked over, serviced and vetted by trained professionals. I want this experience to be smooth as possible and so far it has been. Totally worth it! Great service from the sales team, oh and also they include live video support to trouble shoot your machine if something ever happens to it. Being new to this, I don’t know as much as a veteran vending machine operator yet, so I’m most likely buying a few more from them. I recommend them 100%

I spoke with Jon Carnes about my new combo vending machine. He went above and beyond with excellent customer service. I will definitely be working with him and Vending Concepts again for future vending machine purchases.

I am very happy to write this review. I believe that the character of a company cannot truly be tested until things "don't go the way they are supposed to". In this respect Vending Concepts has far exceeded my expectations! These are just some highlights I want to mention:
• Helpful and positive receptionists (Teresa and Sally) that have NEVER made me feel like a bother.
• Incredibly knowledgeable sales staff (Lou and JC) and technicians (too many to list).
• Extremely thorough machine preparation and testing procedure.
• Free hands-on training on using your machines on site (in my case from Rolando).
• Great delivery service handled by Vending Concepts directly if in the DFW area.
• Lifetime technical support!
I chose to personally purchase and install my own credit card readers (a service Vending Concept does provide). This turned into a weeklong headache. I will spare all the details, but essentially there was a bit of a grey area when ordering one of my machines. Instead of being difficult and claiming its not their problem, Vending Concepts worked with me to get the machine to where is needed to be, no extra charge! Not to mention the MANY calls and video chats to troubleshoot, diagnose, and get the machine properly configured. Since then, I have bugged them with minor questions here and there…AGAIN never feeling rejected!
Vending Concepts is a great company and has an incredible staff, 5/5 recommend.
