9Last thing I got financed was my house back in 2007. Tried to get a personal loan to put a new roof. They denied me. It was an act of congress they wanted proof of every little income i made. Went down the road and they where able to help me with no act of congress. They approved me for a loan for 3 years paid it in 1 year. Will not use Vera bank for any of my further loans.
I moved my account after it became VeraBank. The new employees are awfully rude and not friendly at all. There used to be cookies in the lobby and everyone was friendly and knew you when you came in. Now, the people barely speak and dont really know what they are doing. Go find the old admins from Citizens National Bank so they can guide verabank on how to serve its community.
It’s a bank that’s in multiple areas but the only good thing but the bank is always down can never use the app and when you call you’re on hold for 45 minutes
I had a HORRIBLE experience at this bank regarding trying too apply for a second loan on my home. I had too search and initially call the Mortgage loans officer. (Also back in Dec, 2019 I was going too take out a CD and put it up for collateral I was told not to do so because they couldn't make any money off this loan.
Vera States they provide 24/7 service yet today 4/19/20 their 24 hour number is closed and unavailable. We had to embarrassingly walk away from our items in Walmart because my card wouldn’t work! I get the protection but I should be able to make a call or get an email verifying or something! Very upset and embarrassed, had to go home empty handed.
They offer a "Fresh Start account" but they will turn you down if you are in Chexsystems!
Verabank emailed me about an unusual activity on my account. I didn't authorize and they immediately took care of it for me.

Not happy with the customer service at banks. I hardly ever hear anyone get greeted and the workers are really snobby. They are always rushing and don’t get our request done correctly at the drive thru- putting money incorrectly into the right account. (Checking/ Savings)
