Deceptive billing practices. Changing phone plans mid-month means an extra $30 fee mid-month in addition to the monthly fee. Like others 55 plus, Verizon keeps changing terms. Had additional business line before with same cost as my single line now. Hotspot gets worse and worse,

Verizon is trash. I try to switch over from T-Mobile. The same day I try to switch they f up the order so I cancelled it all on the same day a month later I get a bill. I do I get bill for a service they couldn't even get working or right.

I have been dealing with a billing issue for 4 months 3 billing cycles. I was on there 55+ Loyalty program after they cancelled my previous program I was on. They somehow cancelled that and started me on a veterans discount which is less of a discount. I have talked to a cust.serv.rep 5 times and they credited my account for the difference each month but never resolved the issue which I was promised it would be each time I called in. Finally, on Dec. 15th at 10: 54 am CT, I was connect to a so called supervisor who was arrogant and obstinate to the point I requested his manager. The name I was given was Jessie and his employee# he gave was 9785084. I was told I would receive a phone call within 24 to 48 hours. I haven't received a call and this isn't the first time I have not received a phone call from a request to be called back during this planned obsolescence. I am 65 year old and so I have dealt with cell phone service for quite a few years and this Customer service, rates, organization, communication is the worst by far from any other service I have experienced. If at all possible stay away from Verizon!

Customer service is terrible! Called to cancel and they put me on hold! Hang up and they said they would call back but never did! Called again to have more of the same! Rep said it made it "sad that I was leaving " how so? Made me sad having to pay for another month with no service! Never recommending or going back! Almost got used to paying for service I wasn't getting! Smh robbed me blind!

Verizon has become a joke.
There has been a known " dead spot" IN A CITY (Salt Lake City in my case), where we get 1 bar, if that, on either 4g or 5g. THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING
TO CORRECT THIS ON THEIR TOWER'S. I have to go to a specific spot in my house to make or receive a phone call, and their messaging over the network is now taking 45 minutes to deliver to a recipient.
Their solution? Basically nothing. They offered a extender, which quote "MAY OR MAY NOT WORK".
I was offered this free of charge six months ago, in hopes they would correct their tower issue.
So today, with the service being worse than ever, I went to the store. This time, they wanted $250 for their extender, which may or may not work.
I asked for their corporate number. At this particular store, I was told they don't have a corporate office.
The young punk to whom I was talking had a " shrug the shoulders" attitude, and basically told me to go to another company.
I will be doing that, and pull a lot of my neighbors who are equally as frustrated by their terrible service, for which we are paying an arm and a leg, with me.
What was interesting is that I did not get a follow up questionnaire about my experience in the store.
So here it is
On a scale of 1 to 10, in Sugarhouse SLC, you get 0.
And I hope your corporate office sees this.you know, the one that does not exist

I need you all to stop forcing 5g on us if your going to provide terrible service. Idk if you all purchased sprint towers but the service is terrible in dallas. For a company that once took pride in having exceptional phone service as its key selling point its sad to say that just isnt the case anymore. We as customers would rather have 4g reliable service rather than unreliable 5g service that doesnt function properly. The fact that I have to use my old 4g hotspot to even leave this comment because my 5g service that I have on this brand new phone says I have 1 bar and no internet connection is rediculous. I think I speak for all customers in saying the upper level management needs to make a decision to step up and solve problems for your customers like you are paid to do or step down so we can get a management team that can solve these problems, because the solution to your problem is simple if you ask me reduce the usage of 5g towers until you can provide quality service. Its not rocket science the 5g is garbage and its not because its new its because it needs improvement. I have had 5g in the middle of the deserts of kuwait years ago that worked better than this in the middle of sandstorms and all other madness that goes on in the desert. Mr. Vestberg you and your board are going to need to invite the idea of some form of innovation into the company because the fact that we are in a recession wont hold as an excuse for the companies performance forever. The stock price hasnt been this low since 2009 and the question is will VZW have a recovering performance like the last recession or will the company continue to under perform in value delivery to its customers and all other stake holders? What will it be?

Horrible service in west Texas and really high bill customer service don’t do nothing about it I drop calls a lot and lose signal constantly probably will be moving carriers

Poor customer service just like all the other carriers. Horrible experience.did not receive call backs as promised. Most everyone working their is completely clueless. I look forward to visit the HQ in the future and making these people regret their lack of respect.

They don’t disclose their fees upfront which shouldn’t be legal. I was told the activation fee was $35 per line, but they billed me $137.60 per line for activation fee. Customer service sucks. They are liars. My first months bill is over $500

Sad how their quality and customer service has fallen so far! Yet their pricing has increased so severely! My time and money were yet again wasted by this declining company.

Verizon as a phone service has always been excellent. Of course NO BUSINESS is ever perfect all the time.but been with them for over 20 years, we travel all over and the service has mostly been excellent.
However, Verizon's new self-setup home 5G Internet is - as we can only determine - a scam.
We were aggressively urged to try it, got it home and within minutes realized there was no service in our home (which we previously determined) but the salesman said the system was often outdated and we were in network. We weren't. No worries, right? We went back to the store within the hour but were told - "ohhh, we can't take the box back, you'll have to call and order a box to be sent to you and you mail it to another location. "

Okay.
So.now it is five weeks later, after three more trips to the Verizon store, over six independent calls to the call center, great frustrations and double- triple checking that we're not being billed for this (yet), Verizon finally send a small envelope to send back a "tablet. " What.the.heck?
It is clear that they do not WANT the box back, are forcing long-term customers to make multiple trips, calls, check-ins, online searches for help that is never, never, never coming.
My last trip back to the store - and there is no sense in getting angry with the staff in stores as they are just the front line, have been told they can't "accept" the box and have also shared that this is an ongoing with multiple angry customers.we can only conclude that this is a scam. DO NOT ACCEPT THIS 5G HOME SETUP INTERNET.it will haunt you, wreck your days, cost gas, time and money and worst of all.make you upset with a company you once previously really believed in and like.

I plan on sueing Verizon and consulting with an attorney. I will be filing a complaint with the FCC and the BBB about the theft to my service. On a recorded phone call an employee reads to me that my service is being purposely denied even though I pay almost $500 a month for all my phones lines. On unlimited go plan. "unlimited". None of my lines are able to communicate with each other through txt or calls. They said it was a form of deprioritization. The problem is that it's not technically data that they are blocking. They are blocking straight calls and texts. I've given them almost 8 months to solve this issue. I've began documenting everyghing to prove my case.

They won't answer the phone and if you decide to go with another carrier they punish you for leaving by not unlocking your phones even if you own them and they are completely paided off and your balance is clear with them they make you wait 60 days before they will unlock so you can't used all the features with the other carrier I have been with Verizon for years but I will never go back

Very bad experience with Verizon, no one can believe this:
I ordered iPhone 13 with SIM card from Verizon two weeks ago; I got it two days later, but I can not used it since wrong phone with wrong SIM card; this was on Friday, I chatted with agent online for 3 hours, every 30 minutes, line dropped off, I got started it over again with another agent, I chatted with 4-5 agents on that Friday, still can not solved it; once line dropped, no one contacted me; next day_ Saturday, I spent 2 hours with 3 agents on phone, line dropped, no one contacted me, the last agent said he would order a new SIM card for me; but two days later - on Monday, I talked to agent spent one hour, no record showing someone ordered SIM card for me; I got explained it many times, she talked to upper mangers, order an new iPhone 13 with new SIM card, would expedite shipping to me; at the same time, she got return label for me, asked me to ship the wrong iPhone 13 back; I have asked whether I can go to local store to ask them to fix me; she insisted that it should be returned the center; 3 days later - on Thursday (last week) at 4: 00 pm, I called; but no record showing that the iPhone 13 with SIM card ordered and on the way to me; she asked me to go to local store, they supposed to be able to take care of everything for me; then I run to local store Verizon around 4: 30 pm, the manager-Mo and others 2 associates helped me, only spent 10 minutes, solved the problem, got new SIM card, the iPhone 13 works; It is today-on Monday, I tried to talk to upper management to complain about this, no one help me connect with them; so many tech agents there keep kicking the ball rolling, no one knows what they are doing there, to solve the problem, this is terrible story, surprises me, very bad.the worst services forever.

**** DO NOT GO WITH VERIZON ***

Do not ever trust Verizon. I have 10 lines with them. Sep 2021 I brought a new iPhone 13 pro with $1000 credit promotion. Its been 7 months and they I did not receive nothing. I sent my old phone (11 pro) by that time and I got confirmation in my email saying they received trade-in phone and credit will be applied on my account in 1-2 billing cycle. I called them every month and chatted them. Every time After 2-3 hours of waiting they ended up with creating new case and nothing happen after that. This is 8th month since I'm having this issue now they don't have such record that I Trade in my device. I mean seriously not they don't even have such kind of record. I called today (5/7/2022) now they are saying there was not any kind of promotion by the time I purchased. I have old email as a proof from Verizon saying I will have the credit after 1-2 billing cycle. How ridiculously they are saying to their valuable customer.

Worst company ever. I have 6 lines with them. I traded my phone in for the offer of $1000 but apparently the day I did it the offer went away? Like are u serious? I literally did it on the app where it showed me a $1000 rebate and it was shown in the bill too. Anyways I was contacting them for the last 3 months because they keep charging me monthly for more money than I should be paying. I’m on the phone right now and it’s been a 3 hour wait for the supervisor to answer the phone. Worst company ever. Don’t waste your time with this company. They just try to rob everybody.

Worst company ever. I have been with them for 5+ years. I just bought my wife a new iPhone on the app which told me $1000 rebate but now they “don’t” have the deal. When I literally seen it say $1000 rebate, it even showed on my bill now they say the deal expired a few days before? That doesn’t even sound right? How can I see it on my app and it’s expired? Anyways don’t get with this company they robbed me and they might rob you too.

I get spam phone numbers all the time trying to get me to click on a link. Do your job! I have strange num ers blocked and it does nothing. Ridiculous.
