Vetco Total Care reviews
18Everyone was very helpful and super nice. The entire appointment took no longer than 30 minutes. The doctor is a great communicator and explained everything to help me to understand what was happening with my dog.
We took our Cocker Spaniel, Deogie, in to get his annual wellness check, tests and shots and to pick up his monthly prescription of Heartgard and Nexguard. As always, the staff was friendly and professional. The office visit was quick and efficient. The vet even suggested a tooth cleaning and produced a payment summary in case we decide to schedule it. All in all, we felt informed and we'll taken care of.
Dr. Eric Ta was an amazing vet. Same with the medical technician! Both were very professional and very knowledgable.
Receptionist gal took payment and gave receipt promptly, but did not give me rabies tag and the cup for my dog’s fecal sample. When Vetco was Petvet, the staff at front desk always had the papers and items ready before you walked out and explained everything clearly. Vetco’s system needs to improve so customers don’t have to make two trips to the place. You shouldn’t leave it up to the customer to figure out what is needed at the end of the visit. It should be promptly explained and handed to you instead. Probably, you need to hire a receptionist who is an actual Vet Tech who knows the system better and can provide better support to the other Vet techs and veterinarians. She was more interested in going back to reading her book.
Great visit.
Was greeted both me and my dog and brought to a room where we waited less than a minute when the Vet Tech came in asked about my reason for the visit. Then took my dog back to the Vet to examine within 5 to ten minutes in walks my dog and Vet where he gave me a thorough explanation and options. He was completely honest about the prescription pricing. We both discussed the treatment plan for my dog. The prescription were brought to me and explained on the proper way to take them and any side effects that my dog might have. And my dog and I were checked out and went on our way. Everyone was nice and helpful!
I needed quick care for my dog when she had contracted kennel cough after being boarded at a local dog daycare center (not Petco). The care provided at Vetco was just what she needed - the medicine got her feeling better. I appreciate that I was able to schedule an appointment for her the same day. Thank you for getting my sweet girl back to her spunky self when she was so sick.
Personable, professional, efficient doc and staff that explained every aspect of the exam and findings. Highly recommended!
Everyone was very friendly and gentle with my furbaby which is one of the most important parts during the visit.
T-rexx (Jr. David) wagged his tail the entire time. Everyone was super nice and the vet did an awesome job of educating us on how to care for our pup.
The vet and office manager are very nice, super professional, and proactive in my pet's care.
They always take care of Biscuit so well and have put him on medicine that has brought our fur baby back to life! Shelby is especially always super attentive and friendly!
Honestly a great experience. The office manager, vet tech, and doctor were all very kind and courteous. You can tell that they have your pets best interest in mind. Better care here than the family pet clinic I have been taking my cats to for years.
Absolutely the best services I’ve ever had from a vet. They are consistently better priced than anywhere else. The staff has always been super helpful and flexible.
When this place was The Pet Vet, they were great with my dog. I made the appointment, which was very limited and I was told they are only 15 minutes long. That’s all the time Vetco spends with your pet. They called the day of the appointment stating the veterinarian needed to leave at the time of our appointment and we would need to bring our dog in earlier.
At this appointment, they decided they couldn’t perform the fecal exam and gave us a container to do it ourselves. Then, they sent us home with his annual dewormer. Why couldn’t they give it to him orally themselves? They charged for the services that we are having to perform ourselves. Not only that, but when we asked them to trim his nails, they said he was “thrashing” and they couldn’t clip his nails, yet they charged $35 for this service they didn’t perform. Previously, it was only $15 to trim nails. Our dog is 13 and we’ve never had a vet or groomer that couldn’t clip his nails.
Last time I took him for his annual vaccinations, heart guard and tick & flea treatment, it was $280. This time, it was $375. Absolutely NOT worth the services we received. I will NEVER take my dog back there again!
I took my senior dog and staff was very nice! GiGi came for her annual shots and all went well.
I ask for prescription for heartworm protection because it's cheaper to get it filled by a 3rd party but instead it was included on my bill and I didn't notice until I made it home and saw them in my bag but they said I could bring them back for a refund.
I kept it but my point is they were willing to take it back to correct the misunderstanding. GiGi has since passed away: (but I have a puppy who will be going for shots.
I like this place and their prices are good compared to others nearby.
What a great place to take your pet! They do stay relatively booked just as with any other doctor's office, they do have same day appointments occasionally but do not take walk-ins. The staff is amazing and care about your pets. Yes all services are done in the back due to COVID and liabilities but you will almost always speak with the vet who saw your pet. I just moved from out of state and am very satisfied with my choice to come here. Highly recommend this place. As per other reviews they do not offer emergency services since it is not an ER Pet Care. Just like if you had an emergency, you would go to the ER if needed and not your primary doctor. All in all I love everything about the services and staff!
We have been using this clinic for about 2 years. Be aware that they don't do same day appointments. If your pet has an urgent need they recommend you take it to an ER if you can't wait a few days for a regular appointment.
Fantastic vet! Dr Crawford is knowledgeable and the hospital staff are friendly and engaging! Pricing very competitive! New vital care subscription makes my visits FREE!
