18When I called Veteran's Air & Heating, a technician was dispatched the same day. The coolant in my unit was low. They took care of it and offered me suggestions for the future. I didn't sense any pressure or an attempt to get as much money from me as possible. Use once more.
Fantastic experience! He started fixing things as soon as he arrived. Finished in 15 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and quickly determined the issue with my AC and the price was reasonable. Thanks!

Called Veterans after another company provided a quote for repair service. Veterans (Matt) diagnosed the problem quickly and it was not what the previous company stated it was. Went from a $2500 repair estimate that would not have fixed the problem to an $800 FIX. The problem was obvious to a trained technician and repairable. I will not trust anyone else for my AC and Heating needs.
Great experience. Called and they sent a tech out the same day. My unit was low on refrigerant. They took care of it and gave me recommendations moving forward. There was no pressure and I didn’t feel like they were trying to get as much money out of me as possible. Will use again.
The rating is twofold.
4 stars out of 5 are for the technical part - the AC wasn’t working properly in one of my rental properties, and after the repair it seems to be working fine per my tenant. Tech arrived at the first appointment, did the diagnostic, and the second appointment was the actual repair. Confirmations via text were a nice touch. I took half a star off for adding a line item that was outside of the scope of the first appointment, not asking for approval, and just charging me for it. Another half a star off is for techs arriving over an hour late outside their second appointment window.
1 star out of 5 is for my experience when communicating with both owners – Katie and Kelly. I will not go as far as saying they are toxic people, but my experience with them ended up being extremely toxic. Both owners are very “fast talkers”, came off as condescending, and resorted to intimidation and incivility when I questioned anything about a service or details of a price, etc.
I will choose a different business next time, as, regardless of how well the job itself was done by the techs, having to deal with these owners was not my cup of tea. To be fair, “toxicity” in reference to human behavior is highly subjective, it was my experience with this company, and yours might be different.
Kelly was incredibly responsive and is committed to ensuring the job done by his team reflects his company’s high standards. As a new homeowner in the area, I’m grateful for the thoroughness of the work, and education he and his team provided. It is clear to me that they value long term relationships, and don’t hesitate to go the extra mile to ensure their customers are taken care of.

Veteran's was on time and the technician walked me through everything he did, including showing me pictures and explaining what they showed. About an hour after the repair work was completed, the system quit working again and the technician came back out and fixed a hose that had blown. Great service! Nice to know we can trust this company to fix our system and when it finally dies that we can trust them to do the installation of a new unit!
I was charged $96 dollars just to be told I had a dirty filter and that I needed to run to Lowes and get a new filter and install it myself. I’ve had a great experience with Matt but whenever I have Kelly come it’s always an annoying hour of my life of being spoken to like a dumb housewife that doesn’t understand simple homeownership maintenance.
Kelly, the business owner, came today to fix the clogged A/C drain line. I cannot recommend this business high enough for having the personnel prompt and efficient, courteous and polite, all at a very reasonable cost. We have used their service for years and I see no reason why we would look elsewhere.

We need more companies like this locally! Professional, fast, honest, fair, and every other positive word you would want with an AC repair company! Showed us the problem and fixed it- even with the crazy Texas heat and probably limitless jobs to get too, they never made us feel like just a customer- we felt like family! Matt was our repair man and can't say enough great things about him! Plus he shared a story from his military experience- we need to help our businesses that hire our veterans!
