Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse reviews
17Best steakhouse to go to in Texas. Service is always great. Food is the best. Can’t go wrong coming here. 5 stars every time.
The Valet took over 15mins to greet us to get the car. The place was packed due to the Astro's game. There was NO SOCIAL DISTANCING of any kind. We are newlyweds so it was hard to have a romantic dinner. They seated us in a high traffic area which was annoying. Our waiter was great but I expected a better experience for the money I spent.
Celebrated our 5th anniversary here! I ordered the ribeye and my husband ordered a filet, they were cooked perfectly! They gave excellent service and our server, Emily, was the best! Definitely will be coming back.
Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse is great. The ambience is nice and the food and drinks are delicious!
Went here for the first time last weekend, I was excited because I’ve heard great things. I am glad I made reservations weeks earlier because it was super crowded since the Stros & RedSox were playing which I had no idea about the game, however on to the experience.
The ambiance at Vic & Anthony’s is nice especially for date night, the hostess were friendly & our waiter Derrick was nice. The 3-star rating comes in because for me the overall dinner was just ok.
I had the lamb chops they were good I had them cooked at medium rare temperature which were perfect. The Mr had the rib-eye which was also cooked the same as I requested, the side dishes however fell completely flat. The lobster Mac & cheese honestly taste like it was fresh out of the freezer, the veggies that were used in the dish were not cooked down enough give the Mac & cheese a crunchy texture. The cream spinach was just ok and the asparagus was bland, the absolute highlight of my dining experience was the Pear Blossom it was refreshing & definitely got the job done in regards to drinks.
We may go back, but so far Del Friscos is still one of my favorite steakhouses in Houston.
Great place for special events. Food is delicious; shareable side-sized plates. And, for those that like their steaks well done (what!? !), Vic and Anthony’s does it and they are tasty!
Best part is choices for dessert especially my favorite, Bread Pudding! Enjoy
I finally made it over to Vic & Anthony’s! I was excited because I had heard so many good things about the place. But, I must say it was not what I expected. It’s overpriced and overrated. The ambiance and the staff were great, but I came for the food!
The fried lobster Mac and cheese was ok. The fried lobster tails was the best part although a little salty. The cheese sauce had diced red peppers in it and I didn’t like it. The bread and butter was a bit hard and hard to chew, Quail was over cooked, almost barbecued or something and the pear and blue cheese salad was made with iceberg lettuce. It was wilted and just not fresh.
For the price, we deserve better!
Incredible experience. I actually enjoy waiting for the table. They have a very well equipped, beautiful bar, live pianist and singer, and they make a great cocktail while you wait. The service is unmatched with any other restaurant that I've visited. The wine list is the size of a coffee table book, but the menu is brief and to the point- everything you need and nothing you don't. The food is absolutely perfect. If I had to describe this restaurant in one word, I would choose "special". Definitely an experience to savor and I cannot wait to go back.
Excellent customer service.we had a great steak dinner and excellent cabernet savignon wine! Derik was awesome and took care of my family and I. Best steakhouse in Houston! Francisco
I wanted to take my niece to a really nice place since she was in town for a few days. Vic & Anthony’s was perfect. The ambiance and food was perfect. Justin our server was efficient and sweet. He gave us 5 star service and explained everything. Despite this pandemic, they made sure the proper precautions were taken and we felt safe sitting down to eat our meal. We will definitely be back to eat here in the future.
First-time eating here with my husband. The steak was amazing and so was the bacon. But what i loved most was the creme brulee. Can't wait to go again.
Went Saturday for the first time, and I was surprised at the average service from our waiter. I got the Market catch of the day-Sea bass, because he said it would be flaky. It was overcooked and almost rubbery. My friend had the red snapper which was much more flavorful. I highly recommend that over their daily catch.but maybe that's what I get for ordering fish at a Steak house?
My stomach has been in knots ever since. Now, if I had any other symptoms, I would consider it being the Delta variant, but it's just been the last 72 hours, and my stomach since eating there. Maybe they were upset that I sent my very sour lemon drop back?
Oh.and we were seated in the back for a big party at 8: 30pm, and it was HOT back there. First time ever sweating during a "fine dining" experience. Highly disappointed.
I am visiting from New Jersey and I am sure this is the best steakhouse I’ve ever been to. The food was absolutely delicious (especially the seafood dishes; the tuna was to die for!). Also, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was energetic but not disruptive. The next time I come back to Texas I will definitely be coming here (and ordering another mammoth slice of cheesecake).
The food is amazing the service fantastic, makes you feel like a million dollars, which as a warning, you may end up spending.
The manager Troy and Waiter Jacob were a wonderful tandem. They made our dining experience fabulous. They also accommodated my wife and I with a better table than originally seated with a seamless transition. Lastly, the drinks were precisely made and refreshing. I would recommend Vic and Anthony's to anyone and they still remain one of the best steakhouses in the Houston area.
One of a kind experience, a must for special occasions, exceptional staff and wonderful environment, and dont get me started on the food it is to die for, be sure to try the bread pudding!
I had a meeting here with some colleagues and it was by far our favorite location. We all had a great time and the service was incredible. We will be coming back.
