Villa Grande Mexican Restaurant, Denton TX

The older Mexican waiter very rude. I ordered a Sprite and brought back a combination of Sprite with Sierra Mist. When I said I didn't want the combination drink he got upset and rarely came to my table to refill my water. Food wasn't that great either.

I went in and experienced an extra long time to get my take out order taken. When I arrived home I found MOLD on pico de gallo! Very upsetting!

I had to take so much home! The food was top-notch, as was the service. Thank you for this wonderful experience. The food was also fantastic the next day!

Nice reasonably priced Tex-Mex at Razor Ranch. Pretty good food, nice decor, wait staff was attentive night we were there, and food came out pretty quick after ordering.

I met a couple of friends for dinner on Friday evening and it was all of our first time to Villa Grande. Even though they were busy, we had an overall great experience. We were promptly seated and received quick service with our drinks and orders. I had the Birria tacos, and they were excellent! They had just the right mixture of beef and melted cheese, wrapped into a soft, warm corn tortilla, and the sauce that you use to dip them in was very tasty! My friends ordered different foods, but also said their food was excellent. We’ll be back soon!

This place had good food and service. However, it is incredibly difficult to access and maneuver bc they have chairs and tables crammed in. There was nowhere to put myself that didn't block the walkway or tables

I love this restaurant. The food is delicious! But I have to say the service is awful. I’ve spent a lot of money here and today was my birthday lunch. I had a new guy and he wasn’t bad but he disappeared quite a bit so I needed to ask anyone passing for things. We were having a nice lunch visiting and had the amazing apple pie but an older guy named Alex was just an absolute a-hole to us. He straight up looked at me like I was an idiot for asking for a bag for our Togo food and said “your waiter will help you”. Being older you wouldn’t think he would have the “not my table not my problem” attitude that these young kids usually have but here we are. Spending $150 to be talked to like garbage. Get him some hospitality skills ASAP!

We are from San Antonio and don’t usually eat Tex-Mex in other cities. We were staying at a nearby hotel and after filling a moving truck to move our daughter back home we decided to go out to eat a little late. The server was incredibly attentive and friendly. The margaritas (skinny and tamarind) were great. My husband’s asada and enchiladas were amazing and my flautas were good. We were impressed by the corn tortillas used to make the shrimp tacos and enchiladas. If we are ever back in the Dallas area we will definitely look for one of these restaurants.

Had 2 different servers help us. Both were rude and the place isn’t not flexible at all with their orders. Not willing to explain options on the menu. Short with their answers and not friendly at all. Definitely never coming back to this place.

This restaurant's food has a very authentic flavor. It's good and the prices are very affordable.

On my first visit I tried the cheese enchiladas with chile con carne. They are the best I have had in a very long time. Very flavorful. Can't wait to go back.

We love going to this place! Wish our server was better on this most recent visit. But, the food was great!

The staff was amazing! Food was great! The whole evening went perfectly for my sons 16th birthday.

One of the nicer Mexican restaurants in Denton. The chicken tortilla soup and michelada were really good.
