I went with my family, around 7/8pm, really bad experience. The manager kept hitting the booth we were sitting at, on my mother's side and telling both servers that one of them had to serve us. Mind you, we had barely sat and were in no rush. We didn't even say anything to indicate that we were rushed. Poor leadership. You don't do that in front of guest. I have extensive years of restaurant experience to know that was tacky and disrespectful. Our server seemed so lost. We order half sandwiches w soup. My mother's broth portion of soup spilt over just a little, we didn't mind and the server behaved as if it was a tragic spill. I understand trying to give good service. But, her reaction was just a little too much. I typically enjoy VI, however this night was really awful.

They take for ever to bring your food and then they serve your food on dirty dishes and when you tell the manager about it they don't do anything at all.

Friendly staff that provide wonderful service. Average dine in experience. Good place for a family breakfast or meal.

Awesome hot chocolate, make sure to get with whip cream and sprinkles.

Belgium waffle is my favorite.

Normally Village INN is a great place to eat. But, this location was lacking in everything. Won't be back to this one.

As an El Paso Native I grew up with Village inn. This is the breakfast place for sure, but thus last visit to the restaurant on Joe Battle was a very disappointing one. Let me tell you the service was great, but the food not so much. I ordered the ultimate omelet and to my dismay it was under cooked and the hash browns were just horrible and burnt. Only good thing of my breakfast experience was the coffee and the service. I really hope the cook was having a bad day and it's not a daily occurrence. I will definitely come back and see if the food was back to their original taste. In the interim, there is always Earnies Cafe which never disappoints.

Even though we came in with 20 minutes to close, the service was phenomenal. It was our server's first day, and he was excellent. Kudos to that young man!

Sigh.what did I expect? More and better, I guess. My bad.

I went with a party of six at a fairly slow time, and our experience was just. Ok. The food was OK, the service was OK, and overall it was just "meh. "

The potatoes in my skillet were that soft/hard texture where they were cooked outside but not really inside, and they definitely weren't crispy fried like these things usually are.

Eggs were overcooked. Bacon was good. Sausage was extra salty. Pancakes were dry and stiff. And I didn't get a refill until nearly the end of the meal.

My wife ordered some kind of cross-something-omelette, and it was so horrifyingly bad that I forgot both the actual name and to take a picture. Avoid at all costs.

Otherwise.maybe stick to the lunch menu. Their chicken ranch sandwich is usually good at other locations.

Bad food orange juice was spoiled our server never introduced himself so I can't mention his name disappeared and we had to flag down other servers?
No manager ever came to check our table?
Usually have great service and food dont know what happened today?
Don't know if or when we will return!

Well here we go AGAIN!
It's July 26th 2023 came here to try and eat but again Very bad bad bad service cold food just to give an example I had all my plates carried away after an hour and finally got my toast ha! Asked another server for a tea got a really bothered face! Like I was asking to borrow money or something! Manager claimed she was going to help out and now have to look for her!
Do not go to Village inn you will regret it!
Good luck!

I have had lunch in this place for many years, it is one of my favorites, I like the family atmosphere, the attention of the staff, and the prices, not to mention the various dishes that you find on the Menu!

Our server Damien was great and super attentive, gave us all the time we needed and offered suggestions on the menu! Food was good and coffee was good! Would like to try the pie next time!

First time here. The turkey dinner was pretty good although the food came out barely warm at all and I didn't get any gravy on my dressing or my biscuit (only on the turkey and mashed potatoes). I mentioned it to the hostess and she said to ask for extra gravy next time, it's no charge. Portions were good, plenty of food on my plate. And I took home a slice of key lime pie, I believe it was $4.25. I must say the pie was some of the best I've had in a LONG time. You could taste the fresh lime juice in it. The pie selection is varied and yummy looking, need to try more! If I have guests and plan to serve them pie I will definitely go to Village Inn to get one.
