Village On Broadway reviews
8Me and my 2 roommates just moved in not to long ago and it has been an amazing experience so far. Christen was awesome during the leasing process being very helpful and efficient. Maintenance is very good at what they do and very quick. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.
I lived here from 2020 to 2022 and stopped by to visit a friend who still lives here while in town. Apparently the company completely changed the staff late last year and I'm told the new manager and the handyman are a great team and have been working very hard to fix everything Courtney and Gary screwed up (my ac worked for 8 months out of the 2 years I lived here and it was always.parts are on order.bs). Property looks great, especially the office area, they need to expand that to the buildings to I think and it's a lot quieter in the evenings than it was when I lived here. All in all, huge improvement since I lived here.
My best friend recently moved to Village on Broadway. The apartment is very nice and clean upon move in. The staff does such a great job making sure residents are taken care of. Travis, the maintenance man, even let us use his tools when he heard we were putting the tv stand together. Super helpful team and great location!
Family lives on site. The property is warm and inviting with pretty flowers and greenery. The buildings are well kept and the interior is well laid out with lots of storage space. I was in a one bedroom unit. Family stated that the new property manager and maintenance man responded quickly to issues and resolved them in a timely manner. Complex was quiet and I would recommend Village On Broadway if you were looking in Tyler for your new home. Very nice.
My mother has been here awhile the staff is much better than the past. Travis the maintenance man is by far better than what they have had in the last few years. Been very well kept and very responsive to all of her work orders and very helpful.
Dirty. Nasty. Who owns this place? Why haven’t every tenant called code enforcement just visiting my family here, I get the creepy crawlies
This place has definitely made a turnaround since the new property manager took over. She works hard to make sure all residents are taken care of and the maintenance guy also is very attentive to work orders making sure needs are met in a timely manner. Keep up the great work and this place will be back on track in no time.
I posted my original review on facebook - it’s too long to post here, but here is the bottom line:
I lived here since 2017. I have had a terrible experience here and wouldn’t recommend anyone get trapped here. Management doesn’t care about you, their units, or upkeep of the property. The only thing on their minds is money.
I originally posted this review to their page, and they responded with a letter telling me that I was wrong, but they would give me a “get out of jail free card” and would allow me to leave without additional fees. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was because I am buying a house and I was saving up the money, moving was too inconvenient for me. Since I left, I paid for a professional to clean my space - and they complained that I left items in the unit that were there when I moved in - a microwave, and some curtains. I left the unit better than I found it in, but I’m highly doubtful that I will see my deposit.
