Vinology, Houston TX

Vinology is in my opinion one of the more interesting winenstires in Houston. They ware nerdy - which I love.

Absolute gem of a wine shop. Carlo & partner were amazing, highly recommend for anyone passionate and/or curious about wine

The staff here are passionate about wine. They will explain the wines and listen to what you want and get you to try something new you will love. This is a fantastic place to pick up wine or taste a flight at the bar. Definitely come and experience the “neighborhood “ wine bar that is classy fun and informative

Super friendly staff, very accommodating. You can bring outside food to enjoy with their wines. They have rotating weekly tastings, always something fresh and new to try. Ask for a tasting of almost anything in the store!

Ricardo and knowledgeable team make this our number one neighborhood wine bar. Their weekly flight tasting is nicely curated but never too pricey. Casual and friendly. Easily make conversation with other wine lovers. Food on the weekends from rotating food truck next door but otherwise it’s just about the wine.

An exceptional wine bar/tasting room and store. The staff know their stuff. They have set flights to try, or you can tell them what you like and they will pour you something from their extensive options. After tasting we left with several very reasonably priced bottles of wine to take home ranging from around 18 to 25 dollars. They had a full selection from sweet to dry. We look forward to returning to try and buy more. There is limited outdoor seating. They have an area at the front that can be reserved and partitioned off for private parties.

Always a great adventure in wine tasting. Riccardo and associates do a great job in helping you expand and explore new avenues of wine comprehension.

I always make time for a visit to Vinology when I am in Houston (live in Austin). Riccardo, but all Vinology staff, make you feel comfortable and at home. Never a bad recommendation! I wish they would open an Austin location!

Vinology is such a great neighborhood spot! They have an amazing, unique selection, and it is so fun to sit at the bar and try different wines- I always love what they recommend. Have found some of my absolute favorites here.
