Virage Luxury Apartments reviews
9Worked with Hugo, maintenance guy, and he was great. Very helpful. Very quick process! Much appreciated!
Overall just not that impressed with the complex after touring, especially for the price. Not secure at all- anyone can just get in the elevator and get to any floor without a key. You don’t even need a key to get in from the outside. The complex seems outdated and very overpriced. What really made us not want to live there was our tour. The leasing agent just wasn’t friendly at all and was very snarky when responding to our very normal questions (about parking, etc.).
I moved-in in May and it is safe to say I will be moving OUT at the end of my lease!
My apartment is on the ground floor (basement basically) and it is a horrible floor to live on. The trash compactor is on the ground floor so all trash from the top floors come down to the ground floor. The trash room is ALWAYS giving off that trash smell and you have no choice but to deal with it. Another thing, due to the trash there are big cockroaches you will see in the hall and near the elevator which is next to the trash chute room/compactor.
Also, a lot of residents bring their pets down to the ground floor because the dog park is there. These residents allow there pets to piss throughout the ground floor of the parking garage and right as you’re leaving out the doors of the building to the garage.
Lastly, my apartment has has the worst smell since I’ve moved-in…like a piss smell! I’ve tried everything and to no avail cannot get rid of it.
I've been living at Virage for a year now and I've had a wonderful experience. The unit itself is really nice and meet my aesthetics. The tall ceilings make the apartment feel larger. We have a 3bd/3bth with an office. The office is perfect for me to meet with my clients. As far as the community the gym is lacking and need new equipment and those mirrors on the wall need the go. The rooftop is amazing, lounge is nice, and the pool is nice. The office staff is nice and are on point. Maintenance turn around is fast. Overall I've loved living at Virage.
I will never rent at Greystar again. The price does not match the value you get living here and the management has terrible communication and honestly doesn’t care about the tenants. I could write an essay about my experience living here, but I’ll just encourage you to really review your options - for a similar price there is higher value in the area.
I have lived at the Virage for an extended period of time and it is THE BEST place in Houston to live! The management team is stellar, the amenities are always properly maintained, and it is in an amazing location. Looking forward to living here for the foreseeable future!
2023 Update: I haven’t lived at the Virage since 2017 (I moved cities) so read this review with a grain of salt.
I've lived here since the apartments first opened in July of 2014. I've loved living here so far and think it is absolutely beautiful. The pool is a great area but it often becomes very crowded on the weekends, making it hard to get a lounge because there are sometimes residents with a lot of guests. The office staff are very kind and always happy to see my dog and offer him a treat. Maintenance requests are responded to quickly and efficiently. Recently the elevators have been having some problems and not working all the time, but generally, the building is very well kept and I really enjoy living here. The location is great as well. It's an easy commute to downtown and there is never any traffic. I definitely recommend living here.
If you’re visiting someone here, good luck on finding a parking spot.
Their gym is always humid and smells of chlorine.
I fell in love with this complex, alexandria was my tour guide she was very informative and made me feel right at home.even though it didn’t work with my budget, i would highly recommend checking out this complex and if you do make sure she’s your tour guide! Sweetest woman i’ve met in the process of moving.
