I just moved to Gatesville and this was my first time visiting. Everyone here was very friendly and very professional. From the time you walk in until you leave, you feel very comfortable. The staff is very attentive and I loved that I received personalized service. Dr. McCown explained everything in detail and made me feel like I knew exactly what was going on with my eyes. Definitely will recommend to family and friends.

Both Doctor McCown and staff are professional, friendly, efficient and happy. They seemed to enjoy each other’s company while welcoming clients. I walked in to view frames before scheduling an appointment and the receptionist was on a business call. She handled the situation well,: She smiled and nodded then in a moment she put the caller on hold, acknowledged me and advised that she would be with me in a moment. They have a nice selection of frames.
The eye exam that included a contact lens fitting was thorough. They explained each test and machine, advising of the purpose and what to expect. They shared and explained they results of the tests immediately. I highly recommend Dr McCown and his staff.

My husband and I got our eyes checked here. Dr McCown was so happy to explain everything so we could understand. He didn’t rush us and answered all our questions, and my husband has many! We had a change in our prescription so we had our lenses changed in our glasses.the Optician, was great and helpful. We recommend Vision Concepts %100!
