Vista Community Church reviews
11New to this church but I'm glad my girlfriend brought me to experience this neat church
Best church I've been to, they have a wonderful youth ministry for kids as well. I'm so thankful my family and I have found a church home here
Great praise and worship, very good service. We love the congregation and the varying age groups
If your looking for a church I would encourage you to go!
Went for our first time today. I’m sad to say I didn’t feel welcomed at all. There is a door greeter but aside from someone saying good morning there really wasn’t anything else. I went to go sign my child up for kids ministry and the volunteer at the desk was kinda rude when speaking to me, tossed a card at me and said “here fill this out”.
But there was a very kind woman volunteering in kids ministry and made my son and me feel comfortable enough to stay.
I was 5 minutes late to worship walking into a darkened auditorium it was hard to find an empty seat, it would’ve been nicer if they had volunteers helping usher late arrivals to available seats so as to not have us walking up and down the aisle trying to find a seat.
The pastor was funny, and I was able to connect his message to todays world.
After service, it felt like a every one was in a rush. I went to find a “connection” booth or “newcomer booth” but couldn’t. I found a sign that said “next steps” so walked in and little to no volunteers to help or “welcome you” to the church and give more information on how to get connected. It gave the feeling of “figure this stuff out for yourself”.
Overall I didn’t fully feel welcome but I did like some aspects of the church.
Will probably continue coming for the rest of the month to see if anything is different or if it was just a busy day.
This is an amazing church that offers small groups, Bible studies, an inviting atmosphere, and more. The sermons are some of the best I’ve seen. As expected, the pastors exhibit servant leadership and really do a great job delivering powerful Biblical teachings; along with some good humor! This church has a warm, welcoming, and loving atmosphere and is a safe choice for anyone that desires to learn and grow spiritually. You won’t be disappointed. I hope to see you there!
This church has an amazing atmosphere when entering. Amazing place to worship. Kid friendly area for different aged children with amazing people helping out with the kids. My children love their groups and look forward to going to church.
Best church I have been to in years! God is here! Praise is worship is loud but amazing. The people are real, friendly, welcoming. There is a large children's department a middle school group, a high school group, young adults and college group, and small groups for everyone. You will find a place here.
It's so hard to connect here.services are 1 hour long and the following service is 15 minutes after the previous one ends.the parking lot is always a zoo because of this. People are always late to service making it hard to get lost in worship when you're having to shuffle in your seat. It feels like this church wants people in and out.there isn't time for community in the common area outside the worship center. We've been trying this church out for about a month and I'm not impressed. I don't feel any connection.
I come from a mega church that has services every 2 hours leaving room for connection.
Absolutely love this church and the people I have met. I was never one to go to church regularly until now. I’m in a small group and also volunteer Sunday mornings. Absolutely amazing place!
My wife and I just moved to Texas and we are really enjoying the church and our small group
Went here for a while before we realized the false teachings Austin presented. Austin stated a few weeks back. That in their 16 years they never taught revelations, and that Revelations is "weird. " Now, his false teachings will lead so many astray.
