Vivaldi Music Academy - Memorial, Houston TX

We are so grateful for Vivaldi Music Academy. My son truly enjoys his piano and violin classes, we attend 2 locations: Memorial for piano and Sugarland for violin. His teachers are amazing and are very knowledgeable, not only are they great musicians, they were born to teach music to young people. The teachers are respectful, and have the best personality! My son feels comfortable and he is always willing to learn and practice with the best attitude. He is 12 yrs old and has been playing violin since he was 3 and piano since he was 6. We have been with Vivaldi Music Academy for over 2 years and he has advanced so much while attending Vivaldi. He has never lost interest in playing either piano or violin and that is because his teachers are always so engaged, connected and focused while giving their music lessons.

To add to this, the front staff is kind and always willing to help with a smile. Cancelling classes is super easy, you can even cancel your class a few minutes prior to class and they will give you a “token” to make-up the class- no questions asked. Their music recitals take place at beautiful, top-notch venues! We are always looking forward to those, the students display their music talents and it is so much fun for the entire family. We highly recommend Vivaldi Music Academy!

Violin- Ms. Thien-Truc N! My son has learned violin for 2 years before I transfer him to Vivaldi Music Academy with Ms. Thien-Truc. I wish I could find her earlier. When wrong techniques turn into bad habits, it’s really hard to correct especially with a young kid. It requires a lot of time, effort and patience of both student and teacher. Ms. Truc has been doing a great job! Because of her, my son doesn’t lose his passion for violin. Please take my advice, choose the first music teacher carefully! Go with Ms. Truc!
Drum- Mr. Alfonso F! My son is interested in music, but not drum. I want him to try as many instruments as I can afford, before he can figure out by himself which instrument is his best suitable friend. He used to refuse giving drum a try. In our agreement, after summer, if he still says No with drum, I won’t mention it anymore. Now, every week, he can’t wait for his drum lesson. Bravo Mr. Alfonso!
Music-Vivaldi Music Academy! I like the theory and master classes from VMA. So far, from all the master classes my son has joined, I can insist that VMA hire the qualified teachers. Keep going VMA!

More than I imagined. At 69 y/o, I am learning to read music, care for my instrument, and play the violin. Merit is my teacher and partner during this journey. He offers facts about interesting things, like the history of the bow, which only increases the love of my journey. I do my homework as assigned because what Merit suggests has already proven beneficial for my growth. Ms. Alina, Coordinator Extraordinary, is.super. Alina even opened early one morning to talk about lessons. Greatness here!

My nephew takes lessons here at Vivaldi and I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to write this one because he was telling me about the academy and how much he’s learning — I was impressed to say the least. He’s found his passion! Loves it so much! The manager, Elena, at the location and all the teachers are so very nice and bubbly! Will be recommending some of my friends to Vivaldi.

A wonderful atmosphere which encourages people to learn music. Amazing recitals which allow everyone to showcase what they have learned so far. Not to mention their international performance trips! My son loves his piano classes (we just wish they were longer).

We really like Vivaldi Music Academy Memorial. Having an excellent teacher like Ms Thien-Truc Nguyen makes the piano learning experience for our daughter challenging, fun and rewarding.

My time in Vivaldi has been very pleasant. Ms. Thien-Truc has also been an astounding teacher, helping me with multiple pieces for recitals and my own personal enjoyment. She makes classes extremely elementary, and I greatly appreciate her as my teacher.

Ms. Thien-Truc Nguyen is our daughters' violin teacher for more than 2 years. She has been an amazing instructor and our daughters really like the way she conduct violin lessons. They have shown great improvement since they started lessons with Ms. Truc. We continue to bring our kids to Vivaldi because the teachers like Ms. Truc.

An unbeatable experience, excellent piano teacher, everyone very friendly, I recommend them 100%.

We like the school. Ms Truc has been great for us. Ms Truc focuses on technique and mastery of the art with strong fundamentals. We have been with other teachers prior to Ms Truc who focus on getting books completed. We are pleased with Ms Truc that we have our second child also with her. We hope she continues to be with the school on the longer term as school needs more teachers like her.

I have been taking violin lessons with Thien-Truc Nguyen for a little over a year now. I have learned so much and truly enjoy my lessons. I would highly recommend Thien-Truc Nguyen for violin lessons. She is a great teacher!
