Vogue College of Cosmetology, San Antonio TX

This school is horrible with their students. They do not teach, they are rude, disrespectful un professional. I will be filing a complaint with attorney general, and board of education. Do not waste your money because you will not learn anything. This school needs to be closed or they need good nail teachers and directors. My daughter cried her eyes out with the way they treat her. I don’t recommend this school at all. Don’t waste your money.

I just wanted to communicate with whoever is in charge here, this is the first time I’ve visited this school for a wax and as a first time guest I’d appreciate it next time if the staff here wasn’t so rude and non welcoming. I briefly talked to the women at the front desk and she made it a point to let me know y’all weren’t going to be able to provide the service I initially wanted, but was very clear she wasn’t eager to help me find an alternative wax. Again as a first timer I’m not sure all the different types of waxes y’all offer, I didn’t feel it was appropriate for anyone here (front desk work or instructor) to just expect me to kno yalls regulations/rules

My facial was amazing Jalynn did an awesome job && was very professional! This rating is in regards to the receptionist. She needs customer service /etiquette training asap. Didn’t acknowledge anyone that walked in, a simple “hi, we’ll be right with you” is too much i suppose. Didn’t say anything to me or the esthetician just handed the ticket over, then when I went to pay she looked at my $50 bill && said “yeahhh I can’t take that” && just stared, didn’t ask or even let me know what form of payment she could take. Just complete lack of customer service all the way around. If you’re a receptionist at a beauty school then act like it, represent the school well, be welcoming if nothing else you’re the receptionist if that’s not her job what is?

I had my nails done yesterday by a nail tech named Airreion. She did such a wonderful job. I really loved how they come out. It's been a long time since they have looked this good. If you go there, look for this young lady she is that good, out does any nail tech I have ever had. At my age that's a lot of nail tech. Rosie

Stuff turn over rate is terrible.staff treat students especially of color badly.and rules Change constantly…
Each day it’s different and when you consult the teacher you are in trouble and told things are done differently…
It’s not worth it. This school is full of drama turn around

My experience as a student at Vogue College of Cosmetology is very good, the teachers are very good at their work and are always willing to teach us, I have learned a lot and I know I will learn much more.

I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for 38 years of my life and it was the best decision. I attended Vogue college in 1980 and again in 2004 to enroll in the student instructors program. Both times were a great experience for me and I learned all about our perfection from a very knowledge and talented staff. I highly recommended this school for anyone interested it this professional Industry.

I had the best instructors, Mrs Carrera and Mrs Mickens! And I love the receptionist Karen

Vogue College of Cosmetology on Fred Rd is an amazing school with wonderful students and equally amazing staff!

Vogue College is the best cosmetology school out there! Staff is amazing and instructors go out of their way for their students. The students are very eager to learn and professional! This place is a great for both student and client!

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! I came for the Nail Technician program and Had to teach myself everything I know. Teachers quit as soon they get hired. The turnover rate for staff is comical. They lose your test and swear you never took them, they make new rules depending on the person, prejudice, unprofessional, and the list goes on. It’s a miracle I was able graduate. GO TO ANOTHER SCHOOL

My low rating is because of the service. The technician who did my pedicure did a great job. This place is a little outdated and needs to move into the times. I have NEVER visited a beauty school and you couldn't tip students on a card! I know they are doing this for practice but in the real world. Tipping on a card is normal. I mean, they had no problems taken their payments for the service on a card.
