My husband and I took our first 2 classes and it was so much fun! We learned a lot already in two classes. Don is an excellent teacher! Everyone who works there is so helpful and kind. It's a very nice atmosphere, everyone makes you feel very welcome. Looking forward to taking more classes.

We highly recommend this studio! My now wife and I wanted to do a surprise first dance at our wedding and I was born with two left feet. Luckily Don is an excellent teacher and really broke down everything into simple pieces and would coach us on the proper way to do things. Don’s ability to listen to a part of the song and then create a move specifically for it was amazing, our entire dance flowed together and really encapsulated the song and our bond. Don was very professional and attentive, any questions we had he would answer quickly and even encouraged us to take videos at home for him to look over and correct. We did one lesson a week for 8 weeks and by the end we were practically professionals. All in all a wonderful studio and even better teacher, if you want to surprise your friends and family or simply interested in learning some new dance moves this is the place to be. We will be back in the future! Thank you Don!

Don is a great teacher and helped us become more confident for our wedding dance! The process itself was so much fun and we loved every minute of it!

This place is the best! Don has helped my fiancé and I choreograph a routine for our first dance. The process has been fun and exciting! I can’t believe we have such a cool dance to do to one of our favorite songs! He’s now helping my mom and I come up with a little something for our dance. Can’t recommend Don and his studio enough!

We bought a dance package from Volta about 2 months before our wedding and attended classes twice a week. With our work schedules we were unable to practice outside of those two weekly classes. Despite that we were able to learn a great dance in a relatively short time and it turned out great on the big day! Don is a great teacher and fun to work with. Highly recommend this studio. We plan to take more classes just for fun.

It's been over a month since the wedding and we're still being asked to break out our choreographed 'first' dance at parties, I have a feeling it's something we'll be enjoying for a lifetime. Everything went really smoothly, the lack of nerves was a testament to how well prepared he made us. Everyone was very impressed, which my husband loved, but the best part for me was the fun we had working with you before the wedding.
Also, my husband took the skills he learned and has been enjoying teaching all of the women in his family how to dance. It made for some great experiences and photos.
Tbh I wasn't planning on doing a first dance, I didn't want to spend money on another thing or be nervous on the wedding day, but my husband convinced me to sign up and, after talking to Don on the phone, it had to be Volta. I'm so glad he did, it was the best and most memorable part of our wedding because it's something we worked on together over a period of time.

If you have two left feet or want to feel AND look amazing or want to look polished on your first dance instead of the usual awkward sway or ANY of the above AND have a great teacher who works patiently with you and your partner- Don is the way to go.

6 months out from our wedding, we decided that our two left feet wasn’t going to cut it. My husband and I have a complicated schedule and had limited time. Don always found time to schedule or even reschedule us. We paid for the membership package considering we felt like we needed help as we no dance background except dancing at a club in college (if that even counts lol). Don made the dance steps relatable and understandable (i.e. We love and play sports so he even accommodated our sports references when he taught us moves). He built a beautiful dance for us that told our story but also flowed with our song choice and what we were comfortable with.

We started out with literally nothing and ended with lifts and beautiful alignments that photographed beautifully and made everyone ooohh and ahhh. (Proof on video!) one guest even said “they look professional! Lol)

So-shout out to Don! He was amazing and his assistant (towards the back half of our lessons) were a HUGE help to our success. We have a memorable dance now and wonderful memory of this experience and we would do it all again with Don. Thank you so much Don!

Dom is a great teacher and a great person. We came a long way in just 3 classes. He is also very accommodating.

Don is amazing! My husband and I used him for our wedding since neither one of us dance and we were nervous about the first dance. So glad we went! He came up with an awesome choreographed first dance for us that looked incredible the day of. We had so many compliments from people. On top of looking good on our wedding day, our lessons were always so much fun. It became a date night for us and was a good way to relieve the stress of the wedding planning. I felt like it was a really good bonding experience for us. And Don is so much fun to work with. He would have us cracking up every time we were there. We actually intend on continuing lessons with him now the wedding is over because we found a new hobby for us in doing this!

Don has been amazing to work with, he was able to create an amazing first dance for our wedding and we are so excited to shared it! 10/10 would recommend Don at Volta!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the instruction at Volta in advance or her wedding. The instruction was thoughtful, customized, and carefully tailored to our ability (mine is pretty limited) and goals with careful attention to having fun. I cannot recommend Volta highly enough and will use Don again when my second daughter marries.

Choosing Don at Volta Dance Studio to work with was one of the best choices my husband and I had made for our wedding. Due to our hectic schedules and the short time before our wedding, we were initially hesitant to take dance classes. However, after speaking with Don on the phone for the first time, I knew it would be an incredible experience for us. As soon as we entered the studio, Don immediately put us at ease, and we had a blast! When my husband and I left our first dance session, he admitted that he was initially skeptical about trying it but thanked me for encouraging him to do so. Don was excellent in accommodating our schedules and ensuring that we were prepared for our wedding. He also choreographed an outstanding first dance for us that will always be a cherished memory for us. My husband and I looked forward to Don's dance lessons each week because they were the most enjoyable part of the wild and stressful year we spent planning our wedding. We can’t wait to return and take more classes for a fun date night!

Don is such an incredible instructor! He far exceeded our hopes and dreams! Would recommend him to anyone and everyone! He was SO flexible with our difficult work schedules, and truly cared about us and our satisfaction with our dance. We will go back to Volta for any future dance needs!
