Wabash Feed & Garden, Houston TX

I wish I could call this place a “hidden gem” but the truth is that Wabash is a Houston institution. The variety of products in this place is unparalleled. The staff is highly knowledgeable and caring, which always makes anyone feel like they went back in time - back when people cared and customer service was primary. Come here for your pet food needs, for very well-cared-for chickens, rabbits, ducks, Guinea fowls, plants, veggies, herbs, and so on. The list is long!

This place is great. Always have plants I can grow during each season. Super helpful when learning how to grow and what to grow. Great spit for Last minute Christmas shopping also.

Great place to buy plants.

But, they really need to trim the shrubs along the street. They block the view and it's unsafe. Except for the smallest vehicles, the front end of you car is out in the road before you can see incoming traffic. Someone is going to get hurt.

They unfortunately are charging $20 more a bag for dog food. Compared to the family owned business less than a mile away. I do love the house plants but the over charging for the dog food is ridiculous, the place down the street even carries your bag out for you. After 15 bags you get a free one but that's after paying $300 more, lol almost every 3 bags I should get a free one. That's crazy pay 300$ for one free bag. No thanks -The Victor High Pro plus is what I purchased.

This is a very nice nursery. There are so many interesting items here for gardening. I needed vegetable seeds and found many good ones here. The plants are really healthy and of abundance.

They’re so kind and patient to non-English speaking people. I always worry that my mother will get mistreated by strangers while she’s out but she loves coming here. The place is always well taken care of and they have such a nice set up. I commend them and they are truly a hidden gem of Houston.

They had a lot of variety of plants. It's a great time to visit this plant nursery. Also take note that they offer classes on a variety of lessons. When I went today they were speaking about growing your own shitake and oyster mushrooms at home. Also loved the local kitty I saw wandering around the place.

They have just about everything you might need for gardening to live stock feed, books, hats, tools, and of course small live stock such as chickens, ducks and rabbits. Call them for availability. I was surprised to find avocado plants and small citrus trees. It's a bit early for a lot of plants but they do have a good stock to chose from. Very happy I came by. Staff is very helpful and courteous.

They are always ready to help. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. There is always a large selection of plants, soils, decor, and so much more.

Amazing costumer service and great quality products! I love their farm fresh eggs, local honey, mulch, soil, plants and fertilizers.
I just highly recommend visiting them.

Just brought home our Christmas Tree, second year purchasing from Wabash.

This is definitely my favorite place to go for all my gardening needs. I love how family friendly they are and their Fall Family Fun Day was so much fun! My daughter loved seeing all the chickens, rabbits, and kittens.
