The bottom of the barrel for Longview eating establishments. This place is exactly what you expect.

I can not say this strongly enough.
I LOVE Waffle House!
Service, food, environment.all 5-Star!

One does not go to waffle house for the five star rating. One does go to waffle house for a decent meal, however, don’t go at shift change because nobody will wait on you until they are done changing the shift. Then when you get your food it will be cold. The restaurant is so cold you can’t stand it and your hot food will be cold because of it.
It took 15 minutes to even get a glass of tea because they were too busy changing shifts. The off going chef was very rude to customers telling them that they don’t have time to wait on customers that they have to clean the syrup containers and refill salt and “you’re just gonna have to wait until somebody else comes in to wait on you”

New Years Eve 10pm
It was freezing in the restaurant, they said corporate has control of air conditioner.
The so called Patty's Melt was sloopy made, vegetables on side not fresh looking. Ask for onions, didn't get any. Told to take it back, and wanted it taken of ticket.
Ordered waffle, it was very thin.
Chicken cheese hash brown bowl. The chicken was very spicy, couldn't eat the chicken. Ask for gravy. Had to ask for it, it wasn't brought with meal.
Waitress went back after we told her about the food, very disappointed in it. We could hear he whisping to her coworker.
She did finally went to a office and talked to someone, they had her to take patty melt plate off.
They were not busy at all so service & food shouldn't have been that bad

The cook I think his name was Simon, paid for our meal. We were the last customers before they closed. The girl that waited the tables that night seemed more interested in visiting with her friends and family and it was hard to get her attention as we almost felt rude doing so. I don't wanna pay to eat somewhere that I feel rude asking the waitress to do her job. Thanks to the cook I didn't have to that night. She should thank him because if it weren't for him she would have cost this place a customer

Excellent location, well staffed, clean, and food was served quickly, as ordered, and delicious.

I am a grilled cheese connoseiueeuiueiiurr and theirs was reaaly good along with the hashbrowns. Yim yum.

Very great place to eat. Employees work hard and will keep you smiling. Always recommend coming here!

Often busy as all get out, but don't worry. They are always on their toes and get people a seat as soon as possible. Excellent common breakfast meals. Excellent price. But the best part is the staff.

Sit at the bar and watch the cooks speed away to make meals in artistic fury. Spinning around one another to prepare plates in amazing speed. It's oddly satisfying to watch.

I have eaten at this specific location a number of times, and each time was a wonderful experience. However, I have some concerns with posted hours vs Waffle House standard.
In physics, there are 5 fundamental forces: the Strong force, Weak force, Electromagnetic force, Gravitational force, and a Waffle House open 24hrs. One can always be assured that at any point in time, a WH will be available to dispense delicious food, but in this case, on 30 September of the year of our Lord 2021, the laws of physics were violated. At 0634 hours, the Longview Loop 281 Waffle House was closed, with posted hours of 0700 to 1900 or some variation thereof. My daughter was distressed, as we made a point to have some early morning hash browns before school, but alas, we had entered a parallel dimension in which there was no 5th Force.
As the mail runs through rain, sleet, and snow, so Waffle House shall remain open until disaster.

Three stars. Boo on you. (The other one across town was open, but I wouldn't get there in time to eat AND have my daughter at school on time).

Food was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. The staff as a whole seemed to work as a well oiled machine except one thing. I was sitting at the bar and was able to hear a couple female workers making fun of another worker due to the orange juice machine coming apart. That in my opinion, was inappropriate.

This place is always busy but the staff is friendly and gives great service. The cooks a good there.don't know what they do different but my covered, smothered and chunked hashies were super moist n crunchy delicious! Show your appreciation and be sure to tip cooks and waitstaff.they deserve it there

I wouldn't recommend eating here, waited 20 just to got my plastic silver wear, a group of about 7 came in 15 after and I guess the waitress knew them so she took their order before ours so I just had to leave.she should be fired

We had to wait just a short time to be seated due to them being understaffed. Other than that the employees we're kind and enjoyable and their food was excellent.
