Wagon Wheel Motel, West Tawakoni TX

Unfortunately I had to stay here for a little while. After my door malfunctioned it was never fixed. As a result my dog was was hit by a car and killed. When I mentioned it to the owners they could have cared less they were not remorseful at all. And then after somebody broke in due to my door still not being fixed my work boots were stolen this wouldn't really be too bad of a place if the owners just cared a little

Man.this place was a hot mess. No toilet paper in the room at all. Bugs in the light fixtures. Exposed wires. Burn holes in the covers. Super tiny room. Beds were like box springs instead of mattress. Just not good. The lady at the window was very sweet though. It was an adventure for sure.kind of "The Hills have eyes" type of stop.

The rooms were not properly laid out to fit the table, TV, and bed. Everything was scattered.the floors were uneven. The baseboards had massive holes, I thought rats were gonna make me dinner [Ratatouille]

Location wasn't terrible and next to a gas station/convenience store. Like most businesses closed before midnight. Front desk is where the only ice machine is and the staff was friendly enough. Problems connecting to the wifi and somehow in a dead zone. Getting in line was a no go. The room wasn't cleaned well, furniture dirty tv channels limited. At least there was a room phone that worked. Cheap room, no deposit, cash accepted and even encouraged with a discount.

The rooms aren't fancy but they are clean and the beds are firm and fairly comfortable. The owners are friendly and attentive to any problems. I've stayed here several times and would again.

We stayed there for two months and we was starting to get sick to come find out there so much black mold from the window units. Also there are roaches bad in the rooms. They said they would work with us and we come back to motel right before dark and they kicked us out cause they wouldn't wait till the next morning for us to pay them now we are homeless and sleeping in our truck again and my husband health is not good at all. The people that run that motel don't care about no one but there selves

This is a great place to stay people are nice and it's very quiet.never have had a problem here.will always stay here as long as the owners don't change.

Horrible motel. No way would I stay here again. Didn't know it was the local pay-by-the-month meth housing. Woke up the next morning to over a dozen law enforcement officers doing room by room search and seizures. It's that bad. Don't stay here.

Considerate staff. Very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Has made huge improvements to the type of people that used to frequent here. Affordable, with no hasseles and a convenient store right next door and a park across the street.

The owners are super nice and very caring. Made sure I was put into a room where I felt comfortable going to and from my car with all the bad things people ssy about the place. But I honestly have not had any issues. It's fairly quiet. It's an older motel so I didn't expect anything extravagant. It's a decent place to stay for a really good price. Any issues.the owners will take care of it.

The first time I stayed it was okay and the staff was nice but the second time I stayed I was in a different room and it was so bad I’ll never stay there again. The sheets were dirty like they didn’t even change them. So I asked for clean sheets and changed them myself. The bathroom sink faucet was broken off. You could turn it on but no temperature control. No remote for the tv and the one they gave me didn’t work. The following morning when I got up to shower, there was no water from one side. Not sure if it was the hot or cold because a lot of times there backwards. So I ended up having to shower in a different room. Being a homeless disabled veteran every dollar counts. I wish they had offered a refund or a free night in another room. But instead they lost a customer and got this bad review.

This place is always dirty. They have trash all over and just act like it's supposed to be there. Needs to be cleaned up. The office people are really nice though so customer service is pretty good.

Night time appearance is not good and from what I've learned they put up with a lot to make a living like a bunch of us and they are willing to take care of problems voluntarily not their fault people that show up.

Im here now and its not to good roches in room and bathroom as soon as we walk in my wife wouldent even sleep in room frome stanes 8n bed that look like blood so woldent b here ever agen dont do it spend the extra 30$ on somthing els this place needs an pest control on speed dile roches spiders and more bugs all over room

This place is absolutely the worst motel that I have ever stayed at. Wifi rarely worked and when it did it kept going off every couple of minutes. And the cable was terrible. Channels that I should have gotten would not come on. And the the selection of shows was none. And the room wasn't clean when I moved into it. Even though I cleaned the floor myself every other day it never became even close to clean. My Swiffer cloths were still almost almost black. And noise 24/7. I am 62 yrs old and disabled and I have had the opportunity to stay in very ritzy hotels and dumps too. But, this one should be removed from the map.

We are living here now, not a great place to bring the kiddos but extra super cheap to rent by day or month. Management is always friendly, ask for Mike or Chia they are the best management ever. Ms Chi-ya pronounce always very courteous to all our needs. Cheapest place to even rent by the month here.

A good place if u r looking for a mid to long term place to stay with no utilities to pay and there is a convient store next door
