Walgreens, San Antonio TX

Staff is always friendly, but it always seems I have to come back 3 times before my prescription is ready.

Walgreens pharmacy has actually been the worst experience with pharmacies I've ever had. I called last month and even went in to have all of my prescriptions moved to this location. I called and double checked to make sure that everything was correctly done. I was told that it was. However when I went to refill my medications I was told that they did not have them all. So now I'm sitting here sick as a dog going through withdrawals because they are uncompassionate and unkind and we're actually quite cruel in their Dealings with me I will never go to another Walgreens again worst company in the entire US

I’ve been using this pharmacy for over 20yrs. They used to have a wonderful staff, now it seems like Jeremy is the only one who really looks out for you. He’s looked up pharmacy’s that had the rx I needed nearby, when this location was not stocked. Any day of the week he is always pleasant and makes you feel welcomed. They seem to have slot of new people working there now, that seem like they’re just there to receive a paycheck. It’s so refreshing dealing with Jeremy whether I go inside the store or drive they. The hours stink at this location, they’re not very conducive with working clients schedules. Longer hrs would be so much nicer and a lot more helpful.

Do not get tested for covid here. They took over an hour so I just left. Who knows how much longer it would have taken

Your pharmacy hours are not inclusive to people's schedules who work until 6pm or later. 8pm was so much more convenient and reasonable.

Pharmacy service is terrible! For two days they have been claiming they do t have my moms prescription. There were two other Ladies dealing with the same thing! Pharmacists is terrible!

Here because other pharmacy was out of COVID tests at our appointment. Pharmacy has an just under an hour until closing time and they have us waiting 15 minutes and counting with zero communication or acknowledgement through the glass. There are two other people in line behind us. Staff look busy but this is ridiculous. Can they at least stop pretending they don't see us?

It's a drugstore. It's perfectly fine. Have been getting my prescriptions here for 20 years. Always open during their posted hours. All the pharmacists have been wonderful.

Scheduled an appointment to get a flu shot at 11am. The site said to show up 15 minutes early so we got there at 10: 40am. Waited in line for a few minutes, got checked in (was never given any paperwork) and he said it would be just a minute. We waited and waited… saw the guy help out drive through and other in store customers. I get it, they’re understaffed. He checks in two other groups of people for vaccines, gives them paperwork, tells them it’ll be just a minute. We wait and we wait.

Finally 25 minutes go by before we decided to just leave. We had scheduled this appointment before scheduling our grocery pickup and couldn’t wait any longer. When we let the pharmacist know we were leaving, he got a little irritated and said that the appointment slots are 30 minutes long (even though the site has them scheduled 15 minutes apart) and we hadn’t yet gone through the 30 minutes… it was scheduled at 11, not 11: 30… and instead of just saying “sorry we were severely understaffed, ” he got argumentative which honestly was kind of embarrassing for us.

So we won’t be back. His name was Jeremy.

I’ve always got my flu shot at Walgreens when I lived in Houston, which was why there was no hesitation to get it scheduled here after moving to San Antonio. Maybe this is just not a good location? I don’t know…

Such friendly staff. Great selection of products and even the pharmacy doesnt take very long at all.

Everyone knows are names and are always nice and friendly! I’ve been using this Walgreens over 10 years and always a welcoming experience!

Horrible service, called 3 days ago assured by pharmacist woul be ready today. Call today and told no record at all, idk who u talked to, this isnt my normal store? Poor service.then i have doc fax new prescription and call back. Medicine not in stock, never bothered checking the 1sr call. Pharmacist then refuses to look up closest wgreens, makes me look it up. No empathy or cust serv. Going to CVS next time, never again walgreens!
