Walgreens, Bastrop TX

I recommend Walgreens on Haslers Blvd. The staff are super friendly, specifically Jean and Pat! They always greet you with a smile and warm hello! The store is always neat and stocked. Also, the pharmacy staff and pharmacists are so polite. They are always helpful and will answer any questions you may have.

The pharmacy is getting worse and worse. They never have my prescription filled. In the first incident, they received my refill at 830am. I get there at 7 pm and not filled. The girl said it would be 20 minutes. Fine no problem. Sitting there waiting and 30 minutes goes by and it's her time to go home right before she left she finally tells pharmacist that I'm waiting so now I'm in it for an hour while they fill my order. Second incident its been a week, and my order is still not filled, so to prevent the first incident from happening again, I will call to make sure it is filled. Guess what? The phone is disconnected and has been for a couple of days now. Use the app you say.nope it will take an additional 4 day-to-day get it filled. I will take my business elsewhere after this.

Shout out to the Walgreens staff who were pummeled hard and never stopped moving the entire time my family and I were there?

Khalsa was super cute and helpful! She deserves a raise! She was prompt and courteous taking our passport pictures!

No one ever at photo lab nor does anyone call some to photo when requested. Our time is just as important as pharmacy and main register!

A quick visit to this Walgreen's and the front counter staff were delightful. Cheerful greeting and helped me quickly, thank you.

Lady with purple hair in the pharmacy was super rude. A couple that I was standing with waiting my turn backed me up in my thoughts because I was standing there wondering if it was just me that found her brash and rude. They said no she is always rude.

Scheduled a 24 hour rapid Covid test ahead of travel and a funeral. Got there early and still had to wait 20 minutes for them to prepare my test. Never received my results.

Pharmacy tech was rude and loud today. Argued with me on a refill I had. I have the prescription box that clearly shows 2 refills before 8-27-22, but they have no record of it. The tech just got louder and louder everyone in line knew my business. The tech kept saying you must of gone to another Walgreens. (I only use this location). The Pharmacy technician had to stop her and advised me he would honor my refills, when I bring the proof.

Horrible service! We sat in line for nearly 40 minutes after receiving a text that my husbands Rx was ready. When we got to the counter, we were told that the medicine was not up for refill for 2 weeks. We have not refilled this med for over a year! She raddled off a well rehearsed monologue that basically said we would have to come back later! She was extremely rude! We will not use this location ever again! The saddest part is they couldn’t care less!

While standing in line at the pharmacy I witnessed one of the pharmacy people acting totally disgusting to two customers. This Walgreens doesn't offer walk in vaccines like the other one in town does. The customers had walked in looking to get their vaccine and were completely disrespected by the pharmacy person who raised her voice at them for simply asking about the vaccine and did not bother to tell them they could walk in and get it at the other Walgreens in town. Extremely rude and not helpful in the slightest. I ended up at the other Walgreens near Tahitian and the staff was very social, friendly, and answered customers questions without being rude.

I’m a healthcare worker and was denied the COVID vaccine due to no appointment even though I had called half an hour prior and was told walk ins were welcome

I called the pharmacy and they told me that my meds would be ready in 30 minutes, when I got there they said they would not fill it because my doctor had filled it somewhere else and that the computer said I had gotten a 30 day script when I only got a 20 day script. I called the other location who fixed it and apologized. This Walgreens still terribly rude and walked away while I was still talking with them. I have never experienced anything as awful as this before. I have taken it to corporate. I will never go back and maje sure I tell as many folks as I know possible to not use this location.

Best Walgreen’s! Pharmacy hums like a well oiled machine even tho they are incredibly busy. Esp.like their new Pharmacy Mgr. - Dr. Jackie

I've been standing at the counter for the photo pick up area about 10 min. No one has yet to come to ask me if I need help although the cashier saw me walk towards the counter while she was helping customers and she even walked down to the photo section to do a price check for a customer. Didn't say a word.she finally asked when she saw another man walk up behind me. I didn't get my online purchase at that moment. They said it wasn't ready although the online message I received said it was. Then I returned two hours later yet and still to realize my order had not been packaged. The employee that was there kept saying she wasn't supposed to be there and that she was just trying to help another employee. At that point another customer was getting upset with the way they were handling my situation as well as hers. The other customer preceded to tell the employee how unprofessional they were being and that this isn't how you handle customers who spend they're money to pay your salary. I had an event that weekend so I really needed the banner that I paid $30.00 for. Smh I will never return to that walgreens it was a horrible experience.

You truly don't know what you have until you lose it.
I have always gone to this pharmacy since I moved to Bastrop, no problems, friendly staff and pharmacists. But I found out if I went across the street to another pharmacy (HEB pharmacy) I would save money on my medications. HUGE MISTAKE!
Long story short I am happy paying the extra money to return to this very pharmacy, they are a wonderful group of people that are eager to help you, and friendly while they do it. You guys have a loyal patron in me from now on.
I will not make that mistake again <3
