Walk! ATX Pet Care

We have loved using Walk! ATX to help care for our pup when we are out of town! It is so convenient and the pup caretakers are awesome. We use a lockbox on the door so the caretakers can use a code to get our key out, and then lock back up when they are done. Every time your fur baby gets walked, the caretakers send pictures and an update on how the walk went. They even refill food, water, and give your pup medicine if needed! You can pay for different amounts of time for the walks, and they have other services as well like boarding which we haven't used. Overall, I highly recommend using Walk! ATX.

We’ve been using Walk ATX for a year and a half now as pet sitters and to drop in and give the pups attention on days they can’t come to work with us. Absolutely every single person who has come to our home and interacted with our dogs has been amazing. They are sweet and understanding, especially with our grumpy one-eyed senior bulldog. He is best around women, and the one time we noticed a male was coming, we let them know and they rearranged their schedule to accommodate.

They are prompt and easy to communicate with and we always get the BEST pictures and updates from whoever takes care of our pups! Could not recommend this company enough!

We’ve been part of their pack for 2.5 years and have nothing but good things to say. They’re organized, professional, and incredibly caring. We love that we can book ahead and communicate via app. We LOVE the daily updates, pics, and community they build. Mostly, we love that our dog is well-loved. They take the time to get to know your pup and keep them safe and happy. The whole crew at walkatx love dogs and I’ve never witnessed any questionable behavior.

Our dog has been attending day care here for a little over 7 months now. We love it so much we travel from Round Rock 1 to 2 times per week. My dog cries with excitement, barks, and drags me to the door whenever we get close and get out of the car. I love that they provide the dogs with structure and reinforce good manners. At other daycares with cameras I would watch my dog sleep in a quiet corner then come home bursting with energy. He also had a bad experience at one of these daycares that made him lunge on walks, fence fight, etc. We've seen a huge change in his behavior toward other dogs since he's been going to Walk! ATX so much so that I don't have to cross the street when we encounter other dogs. And he comes home exhausted but not before staring out the window at the building until it's no longer in site. They send pictures and now have different add-ons. We haven't tried them or the boarding yet but that is next. If you love your fur babies and want pet care that gives you peace of mind that they are being treated the same way you would treat them this is the place!

We've been using Walk! ATX for the last 6 months for anything from weekly walks to boarding, and we cannot express how thankful we are to have found WATX. We have an anxious dog who doesn't do well away from us, but Britt and team have been very accommodating from the get go. The flexibility of scheduling via mobile app is very convenient and we really appreciate the text + photo updates when our dog is in boarding or after she has completed a walk; compared to other boarders we've used in the past, the proactive communication has been a huge burden of relief for two pet owners that often worry their pup. Our regular dog walker Izzy has formed a strong bond with our dog; you can tell the people who work here love dogs and personalize their approach according to each dog vs.a "one-size-fits-all or get out". We sometimes get pictures of our dog going on group walks and wonder "we can't get her to not pull when she's solo walking with us, but here she is being a good girl on a group walk? ! " The added convenience of home pickup and dropoff is also great.

We highly recommend WATX and plan on continuing to use their services for the foreseeable future!

Honestly, these guys are awesome and you'd be foolish to try elsewhere! They have such great attitudes and they all clearly love dogs like that we're born to take care of them. All of their services are spectacular! We take our pups 2 days a week and they've never come home in any state but completely exhausted from all the fun they have. The boarding procedure is exceptional and the extra services like baths and nail trims are very convenient. I recommend them to anyone I know with a dog.

We are so very grateful for Walk! ATX! I found them through my vet following a very scary situation with a previous dog walker and the difference is night and day. They have thoroughly impressed me with their professionalism, responsiveness, and most importantly, level of care for my pup, Finn. Having a very busy and sometimes unpredictable work schedule, the app makes scheduling a breeze. Our wonderful routine walker Isabelle is an amazing communicator and really goes above and beyond when he is in her care. Highly recommend!

We love Walk! ATX! We’re so happy we found it for our two dogs. They really get to know the dogs and care for them. It took a bit for ours to warm up, but they’re so patient and caring with them that now they can’t wait to go.our dogs have gained so much confidence and comfortability with other dogs and people. We’ve love using daycare during the day and some private training. It’s our favorite and the dogs too!
