If you mobile bank like i do and never step foot into the physical bank then beware.the app for your smartphone is horrible. It wont let you pay bills. You can make transfers or check your balance half the time. The other half the app is down.

They treat you like a number instead of family. Plus when you call or go in and ask them questions they are rude. I’m pretty sure they treat you according to how much money you have.

Karen was easy to work with a quick to respond. We got our financing pre approval for a car loan same day and the best interest rate in town!

I have done business with Walker county for over 20 years never in my time has anyone been as rude as Rachel that works there the girls that answer the phone are very polite but I do have to say I'm very disappointed in her people skills other people were around when I called and heard the rudeness in her voice definitely not the experience I normally would have with the bank I do not recommend dealing with her

I've been with these folks for years now and they've always been sociable and friendly and they've never failed to promptly address any issue I've had directly instead of the usual no hurry "I'll look into it" attitude most places seem to have as their sop.

Do not be fooled by their "Treat you like family" "Hometown bank" rhetoric! They are absolutely no different than any big box bank in any big city. They don't offer any atm refunds (even though they have only one atm with their name on it in the entire town, so you HAVE to so others sometimes). They treat you like a number just like everyone else. Honesty means absolutely nothing to them. And if that magic little number isn't exactly perfect or you've got one negative thing on your credit. THAT is what defines you to this bank. You aren't a hard working blue collar honest living human being, you are exactly that number no matter how hard you have struggled in this unprecedented world to maintain honesty and integrity. To Walker county FCU, YOU are just a number and they see it strictly black and white. Do as I plan on doing and take your business elsewhere, they obviously don't value it at Walker county fcu.

Great friendly staff. They are very helpful for your needs. It's the first credit union that have been apart of, I haven't had to worry about them being bought out.

We have banked here for almost 30 years. Their service is as good as it gets and we've never found anyone that can beat their auto loan rates. I have had very few problems in that time but if there was one, a quick phone call was all that it took to get it rectified. They really, really care about you and your business!
