Leasing staff was not informative I am disappointed that I didn't get my deposit back. I responded in time, and I was informed it was too late. 150 given to them free, I was told it was refundable if not approved. This is unacceptable and a first for me. The apts are nice however.

Second update: After all was said and done with my last one, things are settled and back to good at Waller Creekside. Management and maintenance are what makes a lot of this property awesome. Responsive, caring, etc. WC is a great place to live!

Update: So my car got broken into last night. That’s not the reason I’m annoyed with this complex. Stuff like this happens.

What is annoying is the lack of security that exists. Not talking guards, talking general security surveillance. One of the office staff called to check up on me after my driver side window was shattered. I asked if there were security cameras anywhere and was told “Only at the leasing office. ” So that means that if someone comes and starts breaking into cars, nothing will be documented other than broken glass on the ground.

I was in a covered spot that’s not really close to any of the buildings. Now that I don’t feel my car is safe, I’m going to start parking again by my building. I’ll be handing my pass back and not paying the covered parking fee any longer.

I also asked for help on cleaning up the glass because my basic broom doesn’t really cover it and I want my carport neighbor to not step on glass. Unfortunately, the glass is still there. Super bummed by all this. I’ve lived here for 7 years, way longer than a lot of residents, but this is the first time I’ve legit felt unsafe.

Old review:
It's kinda wild because I have lived here since 2015 and just renewed my lease again. I haven't lived anywhere this long since I left home after high school. Things haven't always been perfect, but what place is?

The best thing about this apartment complex is how quiet it is. I haven't had many issues with loud neighbors. Additionally, the homes are a decent size, although it is a bit pricey. With that you do get full hookups for washer/dryer among other things.

Parking used to be a nightmare, but the new management came in a couple of years ago and really changed that around. Now I can come in late at night and still have a spot near my place. Only once in the last year have I had to park far away.

The pool is a good size, never particularly crowded and is always clean. Also, maintenance is usually quick to respond to calls (at least in my experience) and they always leave a paper message just letting me know they came in. The office staff is super friendly as well.

I can't recommend this complex enough. Seriously, I've lived here 5 years now!

I live here now, and there are some good things about the complex, BUT, they placed us in an ADA accessible unit after showing us a standard unit and saying we'd get one just like it. None of the paperwork says our unit would be ADA accessible. There are real differences that are super annoying (tiny kitchen sink, lost cabinet space, low countertops, etc.). After going back and forth with them trying to get them to make it right, the best they've done is offer covered parking to my roommate and I, which costs them nothing (they have unused spaces), and doesn't solve our problem. Get in writing what kind of unit you are getting or they can do this to you too! The way they treated me seems like this may be the way the leasing office disposes of the ADA units, which is just wrong.

I love living at Waller Creekside for the 3 years I’ve been here. The maintenance folks were extremely kind, the office staff I worked with were responsive and polite. The place was much better designed than most of my other homes. Things were in sensible places and overall I found the quality to be above average other things in its category. If you’re looking to move in, do so. I don't regret selecting this location as my Austin home.

Waller Creekside, yes it is pet friendly but it is dirty and i have been having a hard time to getnl them to replace my dishwasher which had not been working for a long time.

Also, in the past, the elevator was not working. It took 6 months to fix it, and it is a long trip up 4 flights of stairs to get the furniture moved up, especially when you have to do it yourself.

The builder was especially cheap, so the quality of construction is not good. So if you are considering staying there, then keep that in mind.

The neighborhood uses the pool, and someone let their dog swim in the pool so that is not very sanitary.

Sabrina and Patti went above and beyond to assist me as a future resident. I would highly recommend giving this apartment complex a look. It is beautiful, quiet, and the location is great as well.

Nice complex with a great location and responsive staff. Parking situation could be a bit better but other then that it's a solid place to live.
