Walmart Auto Care Centers, San Antonio TX

Always disappointed. Technicians stand around. The center closes early. Oil changes take 2 hours even when there’s only two vehicles ahead of you. And they only use one bay, limiting how many vehicles can be worked on at one time.

The Walmart Auto Center Manager Maria was amazing! She was super professional & covered every detail with the oil change. She offered advice from the mechanics & called one my vehicle was ready. I'll be getting all my oil changes here going forward.

Customer service was good but the mechanics are extremely slow.

I mean it took over 3 hours to change a few tires. They like to milk the clock from what I seen. Very frustrating that I had an appointment and they wasted my afternoon don't take your car here unless you have all afternoon to watch them stand around and take their time doing slow work. Look very lazy and incompetent.

I gave them a one start which in my opinion is more than they deserve. They do not have the tools for checking batteries and will not accept outside testing results which clearly are the same as theirs. I just think that they don’t want to honor the warranty on products and give fee replacements. I hope others have better customer service than what I experienced.

Mediocre experience. If you can get a deal like I did ($280 for a set of 4 Goodyears tires) then it's worth it. Otherwise if tires are regular price make sure you have something to keep you (and in my case my kids) entertained because it took nearly 3 hours to change 4 tires. I made an appointment, showed up 10 minutes early, and they didn't even start until 40 minutes AFTER my appointment time. Discount Tire or Le Schwab's is a significantly better experience for the same money normally. However their tire sale for Black Friday is hard to beat at the price.

I've been going to that Walmart for years they've always been helpful and they never stopped thank you for your hard work

Mechanics are either lazy or unknowledgeable. The lady before me was told they couldn't get the filter off so she would have to take it to the dealer to get a new oil pan when walmart was the one that did her last oil change. I was told they couldn't do mine either because there was a hose clamp in the way of the filter. To top it all off, when I dropped it off there was nothing wrong with my car and now my check engine light is on. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS LOCATION.

I've always had great service here. Yes. They can take longer than other places but you can't beat the price. Thank you guys and gals

The Automotive department is the one area that allows social distancing without requiring any changes. Ithey have remained closed and refuse to honor lifetime balance and rotation contract. They wont even fix a flat tire. When asked why, they don't know dont care. They've stated that they're not planning on issuing refunds or offering any remedy whatsoever. Anyone have an luck?
