Walmart Distribution Center, Temple TX

These folks are fairly quick about unloading. The counting is what takes a while, but all-in-all, a Pretty good unload time. Allot quicker than some that take 6 to 8 hours to unload and count. The lady in receiving was very nice, and actually has a good sense of humor.

The guys at the shack are great. However the joy stopped there. Took 3hr to unload and another hour to get bills on a very slow day.

Took 2 hrs to unload lady at the window was nice they respect the driver time thanks Wal-Mart DC

Worst Walmart dc I’ve been to second time here they’re slow asf got here 1.5hr before app and 4hrs later am still here

Not too bad; they give you a door, you drop your trailer, pull forward a couple feet, then walk down to receiving. (unless you are lazy, then you ignore instructions & drive down to receiving) They have a small waiting area with 2 vending machines and a microwave.the bathroom was clean, THANKS WALMART!

Checked in 4: 30 pm my appointment was 5: 30, got my bills @ 9pm.
I only had 13 pallets and they were stacked.

The place it self it's not that bad, like every other Walmart, but the "ladies" in the office are very rude, it has not been a one time occurrence, i don't know what their problem is, but they are giving walmart a very bad image, there is no need for that, we are all workers, if you are nice, your day will be better. That is my thought

The manager for recieving would not unload my load because I was late for my appointment. Not my fault a deer jumped out in front of my truck. And tore it up and made me late.

We were 45 Min early- got unloaded very quickly. But waited FOREVER for paperwork. I do remember a time when you could count on 6 hours at a Walmart so I’m still giving them 4 stars- that, and you’re allowed to park outside the gate. Helps when you’re the last one out.

3.5 hour unload time messes up a person's time a little. But for as many trucks they running in and out of there U got to expect a little headache

I know all loads are not perfect, the problem is when your late you get recheduled sometimes for a day and sometimes fined on top of that, but when they take 4 hours to get the paperwork after its unloaded i cant reschedule them or fine them when i lose a load waiting. Thats what they need to work on. All in all, its not the greatest but i have been to worse on the east coast.

Don't be late. If you have a drop and hook you're golden. If you are a live load pack a lunch you will be there awhile. Don't give attitude and follow their instructions. If you are a driver and have visited any Walmart DC's you already know all of this but for you new guys be patient.

Have a little Respect for the clerks and your peers. Also Just make sure you practice using proper communication or you could make a mistake that will cost you even more time at the dock. I’ve been to probably 35+ different Walmart DCs and this is Pretty much average Walmart to deliver to. I’m giving this place 5 stars because drivers like to cry and complain at this location for some reason. It’s really not the end of the world coming here.

I love this Walmart I come 26 hours before the appointment and a got a door. People are really friendly and nice.

I do NOT have words to describe, how HORRIBLY they treat drivers! Show up to deliver a load, and you're forced to endure "Continuous Verbal Abuse" and Yelling - in EBONICS?

I went there to get my physical and the people is very nice, very clean warehouse and everything is organize and employees are willing to help anytime.

45 minutes or more to get to the guard shack? Yeah you know what you're in for when you come to walmart

Very easy delivery. The truck entrance is on the side road (Wendland) instead of the address they gave us, but thanks to satellite pictures it wasn't hard to find. Everybody was very friendly and they unloaded us really quick.

Had no problems with unloading had 40 pallets had 20 different products on trailer done in around 3 hrs
