Walmart Neighborhood Market, Kingwood Area TX

This neighborhood Walmart was as described.it was a Walmart also it was in a neighborhood so I guess it was correct.

Clean and although smaller than normal walmarts, it felt like they still had a good selection of things

Poor service, lady at front just standing there
Asked her if carts are wiped d ok wn. She said no and we had to ask for sanitizer wipe. Salad outdated, had to tell Walmart person. No smiles at register.

I have changed my rating from 5 stars to 2. They are still convenient and holding strong on the mask issue. As a high risk individual I appreciate the extra protection. What I don't appreciate is the fact that patrons are allowed to shop with their pets. A customer was allowed to walk through the store and shop with her dog in her arms. It was not a service animal. It is Walmart policy to not question a person beyond simply asking if the animal is a service animal. Disgusting and unsanitary.

Love going to this for shopping. House hold things and groceries. Not a super center you get what you need and go.

Sure I'm going to use self checkout if I don't have that much but when I have a full basket there needs more than 1 checker and when there are 6 people with full baskets in line. Customer service is lacking at this point.

Fabulous staff, always so helpful and cheerful.

*** Beware, their are customers still trying to shop without a mask!

If you get prescriptions filled here, COUNT the QUANTITY. I had a controlled substance prescription filled. The prescription was for a quantity of 60. As soon as I was home, I opened the sealed bag and counted my prescription for a total of 58.

I asked for a review of the pharmacy cameras because either a mistake was made or someone was curious. I asked the pharmacist if anyone else was present during the video review and he asked “what for? ” (There’s no integrity here) whatever they say happened is how they say it happened and anyone who has a problem with that won’t be heard because they keep it within the pharmacy and don’t involve store management.

In the end the pharmacist said it’s “impossible” to have miscounted, plus they do background checks (like it’s a crime deterrent), so once someone honest is hired, they remain honest.

No longer live in the area but miss having this store nearby. Usually had anything I needed without all the extra merchandise like at HEB. Not so large and not do much walking required.

I'm not from this area but I was in the store for my mom and I was lost looking for something. I guess I had a lost look on my face when a lady ask did I need help finding something. Bc of her noticing that look on my face I give them the 5

Really sick of not having more registers open. My busted wrist slows me down. Watching older folks with canes and scooters have to lift themselves to move their groceries. Not very Neighborly. Not to mention one of the tellers is "getting up there. " Any slower and we would be calling an ambulance. I frequent because its around the corner, now you are pretty much for banking and emergency essentials

In March 24 of 2020 they added senior hour to help keep us away from the mobile population. A few younger people also came in so they didn't check everyone. I heard two Walmart people that didn't understand the true reason for the time it seemed. They thought it was OK as the younger shopper stated they were shopping for an older person. That again is not why this hour was there. It was to social distance the older from the younger! Better staff information is needed to safe guard the senior population. Thank you for trying to help the senior shoppers today.

Zero Cashiers! Had to check out 2 baskets on our own. This place should be paying me by the hour. When you only have 1 cashier on staff and then they take off your customers have to pay.

I usually enjoy the deli's fried chicken. But today, everything that had been fried was done in dirty grease. One can tell by the color of the crunchy batter. I would have preferred the chicken being served late rather than on time and It not be presentable. All the other sides looked fresh. Fortunately, I was able to get a rotisserie chicken instead.

They have limited selection of produce and product but it’s understandable given that it’s a neighborhood market Walmart

Always has what i need. That was 3 years ago.

This is my favorite local walmart they know customers here well. I am greeted in familiarity each time. They know that if i show up, i will not use a self serve line, i will stand at a register until I can have someone ring me up.yes I'm extra, just doing my part to keep automation minimal. Everything is always fresh and there discount spot has actual useful items worth grabbing. And not forgetting the deli personal having seen me for years making sure to have the breaded wings ready for me and my boys when we come shopping everynight, Thank you. Long story short this walmart excels in customer satisfaction.

Straight to the point store. Very clean and I am always able to get what I need and get out in a timely manner.

I love being able to get in and out quickly. However, I have never found the staff very helpful or friendly.

I only go here because it's closest to my home. The produce is sub-par quality and overpriced for a Walmart. Even after the latest makeover it's just, meh.

Friendliest staff of any nearby grocery store! Truly remarkable! I went there a few times and each time I had multiple employees ask me if I needed help finding anything which left me quite impressed. Will definitely return!
