Walmart Neighborhood Market, Denton TX

I love this location better than any other in Denton. It's smaller, but has everything I need. Nice and clean.

Great selection of prepared foods to heat and eat. It is a great grocery store with shelves well stock and the variety of foods. Basically like Kroger with Walmart prices. Very nice.

Products are good and priced right. Employees are available for helping. They are friendly a d knowledgeable.

Honestly? I love the expansion. Glad to see the pharmacy get updated too. But putting boxes in the waiting area the past few weeks worries me. Aside from looking trashy, I worry about it being a fire hazard bc now people just have to crowd into the aisles bc the dedicated line is gone. Going on 2: 3 weeks now or I wouldn't even complain.

I absolutely love this Walmart. It's always clean and well stocked. The employees are friendly, and the layout allows for a fast shopping experience.

Shopped here today like I do occasionally through out the week. I was with my 1 yr old son and mother, everything was fine until I got to the registers. Not one single regular register was open, only the self check outs. I didn't say much even though it was frustrating due to having my son in My hands. I scanned 2 items that the camera thought I didn't the lady came over to check if I did which she re-scanned to "triple check" then voided it. After that she was very rude and watched me like a hawk! I come multiple times a week EVERY week and do not appreciate the disrespect or them thinking I was trying to steal!

Love going to this store. It's less busy & usually always has everything I'm looking for & more.

I've always loved this store but since the remodel I have trouble getting what I need. I'm 5'3" and can't reach a two liter of soda from the top shelf. I can't reach ice cream on the top shelf. The store now caters to taller people and I'd rather go somewhere else than have to keep asking people to reach things for me. I'm not a child but I feel like one now.

Felt like a criminal. Using self checkout and THREE associates were watching me like I was going to steal something. Instead of paying people to watch you how about you re open the registers

Was refused purchase of formula even tho there isn't a sign saying there is a limit. Then when I said I was making 2 transactions they still wouldn't let me. Was told I could come back after shift change to make the rest of my purchase. Like what's the difference if I make 2 transactions now vs 1 now and another an hour from now?

I sent my dad to get something at this walmart. He came home very upset, and said as soon as he walked into the store, he asked the lady who greets and checks receipts at the entrance to direct him to the restrooms. Instead she told my dad to leave the store multiple times with no explanation. I found this very rude and disrespectful because my father does not speak english well. He knows how to ask to use the restroom so I know the lady did not assume other wise.

Miguel and Herman working in grocery pick up have horrible customer service after being a Walmart customer for 3 years and spending 400 bucks this is unacceptable

I used to love coming here until the remodel. I know I am not the only one. I can’t find anything, isles are crowded and have no order to them. Same issue with new check out layout. Was fine the way it was before they changed everything. Now I try to avoid coming.

I went to work at night and what I like is that I can buy my groceries without standing in long lines hahahaha

I don’t often leave reviews, but I had just had to leave one for the pharmacy. I was having trouble with my prescription and the pharmacy tech and pharmacist went above and beyond to try to help me get my prescription filled. Not to mention she was extremely kind throughout the phone call. I’ve never had such a good experience with a chain pharmacy before. Thank you so much for all the help.

Clean store small space so does not have all items a person may want but has a good variety

So what hasn’t thawed and refrozen up there this is the second tv dinner from there that’s like this

Its under maitenece. They used to have very nice large self check out kiosks with a big bagging area. It was never really that busy. BUT they switched self checkout to the tiny ones for some reason. Now theres no point to go to this one over a big one if you have a lot of grocceries to get.edit: I went back just for some soup at 3pm. The new self checkout area has no place to wait if the checkouts are full. So you just stand in the way in the main front isle (mind you the main front and back asiles are the only way to move horizontally across this store anymore) and block peoples way and not just other customers but also workers and people who wanted to pass. I guess now if theres a big blob of people in the front and you need to get to the pharmacy you will have to walk the entire store through an asile because the asiles dont have breaks anymore and then walk all the way back up to the front to avoid checkout blob. I really hope this isnt permanent because feeling so cramped up in a neighborhood market is not the business.
