Walmart Neighborhood Market, San Antonio TX

I was here only for a quick visit to pick up a pakage but the lady who helped me was really nice and knew exacly what she was doing. It was easy for me to see that she was busy helping out the cashiers but the fact that I came and interrupted did not bother her and she helped me with a smile.

Has lots of organic and allergy friendly foods that you would normally have to get at a specialty store. Super fast check-out and very friendly cashiers! Best Wal Mart I've personally ever been in. I prefer to go here over HEB, Mich quieter and I can still get everything I need, but cheaper.

I have stopped here for a few items on my way to work a total of twice and both times I found myself being followed and eyed through the isles by employees all the way to check out where it was clear they made sure I was scanning every item. I have never walked off with an item in my life and had had enough and even called out an employee for this behavior which sent them awkwardly scurrying. They are good for a quick stop for an item or two as it is a small store so I suppose they do get credit for that and a nice clean atmosphere inside. Just make sure to dress nicely when you go in I guess, but as a teacher on her way to work just trying to stock her fridge with flavored waters, I'm not sure what won't get you followed around.

Convienent and quicker than a full Walmart. Only compliant is that they rely too heavily on self checkout lanes, which baffle some of their shoppers.

Friendly staff, and I love how empty the place usually is! You don't have to worry about over crowded ailse.
I will say that the newer staff they hired are rather strange. Had a young lady who works there ask me for my Valentine's day chocolate that my fiance had bought for us both. Thinking she was kidding, we laughed if off, but heard her muttering something under her breath when we walked by. We are kinda awkward people, but I thought that was rather strange.
Anywho, great place to go!

Excellent Wal-Mart but they close when they want. Stopped there at 10pm on a Thursday and they were closed. Guy looked at me through the window and threw his ams up. Said 12am on the doors. Never seen a Wal-Mart do this before. Glad there was a HEB close.

It's not HEB selection, but it's always quiet and well stocked. The parking lot is also low volume and feels safer than any HEB lot.

Good service for a Walmart. Lines at checkout are sometimes too long for how busy the store is.

Very convenient and perfect for getting things for the house without having to deal with the large amount of people. And its close to home. (It really is a "neighborhood market")
