Store is clean. And great customer service from all employees. Great variety in frozen meals too.

A fully grocery style Wal-Mart that has all the needs of anyone. Perfect for a grocery trip without all the extras provided by the supercenter variants.

Love neighborhood Walmart I can always get what I need without the crowds and waking twenty miles.

Went today at 1p, several customers shopping in store, several employees stocking shelves, rather bustling but yet not a single full service checkout lane open! Lines of customers in the self-serve lanes being forced to navigate the self checkout. Walmart makes enough profit to have at least one employee based check out lane! Make it a 15 items or More lane if necessary but at least provide this option for customers purchasing multiple items. I walked out of the store leaving the basketful of groceries for an employee to restock.would have been much better to simply schedule a checkout lane employee and serve your customers, wouldn’t it Walmart? ! You can afford it!

Very clean, friendly staff, great selection of products. Peaceful and Quiet shopping environment, unlike a supercenter.

My unic complaint is that i can't find goya products in this store. Always I have to go another place for buy them. Its so bad because I live more near of walmart than another places.

This is a stop and grab as opposed to a place to do heavy shopping. Small lines and several self checkouts open.

If you have to go to a Walmart, this is the place to go. The location, employees and customers are so much better than at a Supercenter!

No furniture, electronic stuff, clothing, etc. They have a Service Desk, food, beer & wine, and a pharmacy. So you don't have to walk around a football field. They recently changed their hours to 6 a.m. -midnight. Their produce & fruit section is really good quality stuff. They have a bakery in the back. Most employees also speak Spanish, which helps down here in the Valley. Easy in, easy out. The lines were short when I was there around 2 p.m.

Great price is very convenient used to be open 24 hours great place to buy but limited selection

It’s always cold.
There’s an employee named Belinda that is always rude to costumers. She called a lady in front of me “dumb” because she pressed cash back on the card payment. She’s rude to adult people and not helpful at all. I’m sure there can be something done about her.

I encountered the worst experience at the Neighborhood Walmart on corner of Nolana and McColl in McAllen (800 E Nolana Ave, McAllen, TX 78504). I went on Monday to pick up my 6 month old daughters prescription medication because doctors said she had RSV. I got there at 7pm and was told the medicines would not be available until the next morning. I told them I really at least needed the Albuterol and the Nebulizer by that day. They then told me they could work on it and have it in about 30-40 min however did not sell nebulizers. I told them I would go to Walgreens across the street to see if I could get the nebulizer from there. Long story short, Walgreens said they could do it and had a nebulizer (I am private pay) for $40 but needed Walmart to transfer the prescription. They were on hold with Walmart Pharmacy for 20 min and finally Walmart said they were unable to transfer to Walgreens. I went back over to speak to them in person (now it is 8pm). They tell me to hold on a little bit. Now it is 8: 30 and both Walmart and Walgreens close at 9pm. I tell them to please just forget all medicines, I will go to Walgreens however please just transfer my prescription so Walgreens can fill. They refuse and say they cannot do this because they have already started on one medication and the system will not allow them. I do not have insurance so I ask the pharmacist to please give me the print out she is holding in her hand so I can take to Walgreens and also says she cannot give me. I told them my 6 month old needs the nebulizer and albuterol to sleep this night as she is really sick with the RSV. It is now 8: 40 and they tell me I won't even be able to fill anything at Walgreens at this point. I tell them please just give me my prescription (not meds) doctor prescription so I can go to Walgreens and get what I need. They say I can go to Lees pharmacy to pick up a nebulizer with no prescription for $130. I am now very angry because they have held my private pay doctor prescription hostage, refusing to transfer electronically or give me a hardcopy. My doctor has now personally called them and argued with the pharmacist. My doctor now has also sent over a fresh prescription to Walgreens because Walmart refuses to transfer. It is now 8: 53 and Walmart gives me an antibiotic and albuterol. This was Monday. We go for a follow up appointment on Thursday with my daughter's doctor and find out that Walmart did not even give us the steroid prescribed by my doctor. Doctor wrote another prescription to Walgreens which was filled within 20 min. My daughter should have been better by Thursday however was missing meds due to negligence and inability to perform a job on Walmart's part. Had anything else happened to my daughter, we would definitely been going after Walmart as RSV is very serious.

Great place to buy, just a few things you might forget from walmart super center. The produce here is alway crappie, and old almost never fresh. I notice the prices are higher than a normal walmart store.

What up bro I just want u talking with the hose to the store to buy some more urj a bit here in up with it all jacked off her phone and I'll get you the money for drinks if I could only find one for you to throw it away from work and then some guy I know I wanna chill and smoke lol disrespectful I can do that I was going back and I tried looking to move by any time u left the office yet and I'm honestly I have a lot I don't have to be at court on my fb lol disrespectful to work with me to work for you to meet me there for the interview and I'll be here all over you hahaha I was gonna have to take a video of the dogs out for me to go through the whole thing you can come to my place and we can get it tomorrow or when I get back to you brotha and I tried to send you a message when u get out of here and go from there and I will get you a quote on the road to recovery to go through this guy I know for sure that I will be able to make the meeting tonight gonna go home to the store and I will be in a little speaker for the trouble I can do to own it was when we were gonna I guess put it uruhfhdjsijsjejjdjjjjjjjjjejhhdfhh jogging huhuopi figure go too for for rjrko to work

Very disappointed.every time I go in I have a cart full they don’t open up a register they tell me to go to self checkout. And I scan and bag all the food. It’s extremely frustrating,

This is my go to place for anything on my grocery lists. Quick, in and out and unlike SUPER WALMART centers, this one has many self checkout lanes to make the shopping time fast. Store is clean and staff is friendly.

Good place to pick up some much needed pantry items with out the hassle of going through the other departments.

I love the neighborhood mart, everyone is so friendly & I find exactly what I need without buy more if I go to the big Wal-Mart
