Ladies at the counter were busy having personal conversations rather than helping the customer. One of the ladies seemed like she hated her job. ‍️

I live in Dallas, but was in Amarillo unexpectedly. My grandmother had fallen and broken her knee and was getting surgery, and my grandfather passed away the same day. I was stressed and panicked trying to get some important meds filled that the insurance was being difficult about because of some confusion of them getting filled in Dallas. Anyway, the pharmacist and pharmacy tech were INCREDIBLY helpful and compassionate. The pharmacist called my insurance and around to other pharmacies until the issue was resolved. The tech sweetly talked with me when she noticed how upset I was, and even came around the counter to give me a hug. I've rarely seen such displays of compassion and competence.

Every time I come here it's always horrible. Today I came in to pick up a prescription and the very rude head pharmacist asks me why did my doctor change the medication I was currently on to a new one. First off, that was none of her business and secondly why does it even matter. She proceeds to tell me that it is a specialty drug, which I am obviously aware of because I AM TAKING THE MEDICATION. She tells me I will have to wait to get my medication because they'll have to order it. That's fine, but she was still extremely rude about the situation. I then tell her that I'd rather my prescription be changed to another pharmacy, because as I stated, just horrible service. She tells me, I can take the medication wherever and good luck with getting it filled. After asking for her name, and then advising her that I would tell the manager about Linda's horrible customer service she tells me that me complaining to a manager will not make a difference. Needless to say, a complaint was made and it has been actually forwarded to her district manager.
